New Holland is a quality tractor with a fair price and a strong factory backing.

Jeff also on the cold start you can add a block heater on the right side of the engine I think, there is a large threaded plug on the side of the block, the kit is expensive from CHN but you may be able to pull the plug out and match the heater up at a parts store. I'm researching this for my tractor and if I find out any more info on mine I'll update you

Jeff, on the loader control lever, you can pull the rubber boot up, there is a lock nut that will allow you to move it some, I had to adjust my 75 when I got it

Sorry to keep posting, but we have the same tractor and hopefully we can help each other. I saw in 1 of your videos that you spoke about glow plugs, have you confirmed this, my manual does not say 1 way or the other about glow plugs. I added a in-line radiator hose heater, (major pain no room) but it worked, got it at my local parts store for about $75. But again a pain to get into a 8" long hose

Terry, thanks for the information on the joystick. On the glow plug heater it is called the thermo starter in the manual. On page 3-11 it is light 14. My understanding is when you turn the switch on you should wait until the light goes out (which only takes a second). Then after it goes out you turn the switch on over and start it. So far it has started good, but we put it in an insulated shop when it got really cold around Christmas. Will keep the block heater in mind if it becomes a problem. Thanks

    Good Morning,
    I am looking at a work master 75 and.a power star 75.
Do you think the power star is worth the extra money?

I have never used a powerstar so I am not sure. Most people say the powerstar is more comfortable as the cab is a little roomier. We have had the workmaster since November and have used it to feed with all winter and so far have had no issues with it. The workmaster is a little more compact and not quite as tall as the powerstar. I honestly like the looks of the workmaster better than the powerstar. For the money I would go with the workmaster, but I know there are others who disagree. I hope this helps. I am planning to do a review for CZcams son, but have not had time recently. Best of luck with your tractor search.
