I don't have an Australian map in front of me, so can you tell me where SA is in relation to VIC? I live in Central Upstate NY in America, 5hrs. NW of NYC, so yeah, I live in one of the big states. How big is your state? Does it get cold in winter? Do you see snow? We are in autumn. It is starting to get cold and miserable here. Winters here are very nasty. I want to know more about your state!
SA is west of Victoria and just under a million km2 ( more than 6 times the size of New York State). Our weather is mild winters and HOT summers ( we get a few days above 45C / 113F every year ). We're the driest state in the world not counting the Antarctic. But most of our population lives on the coast.
@@TheKoalaChannel Wow! And I thought our state was big! We had a pretty hot summer this year, first hot summer we've had in over a decade. We hit 40° a couple three times, but the humidity here is brutal! You walk out the door and you're not breathing air, you're breathing water vapour! It's really awful. I usually end up having to shower a couple times a day. We still had a lot of rain this summer. If I was complaining about the heat, it was hot! I suffer from an autoimmune disease, which makes me hypersensitive to temperature, ie, I'm always cold. So it takes an awfully lot to make me whine about heat, lol! I'm sure a/c comes standard with your houses, too! I have Amazon Prime, so I get to see some Australian telly. My favourie is Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries. I know it's not on anymore(such a bummer), but I still like it. I recognised a lot of the actors because they were in Farscape! Loved that show! It was great! Still miss it. You'll have to recommend some shows to me and I'll see if Amazon has them. I watch a lot of Brit telly because American telly nowadays is such rubbish! It's all stupid reality shows. I like Death in Paradise and Father Brown. Wish someone would make a koala show. That'd be good! Somebody here on CZcams posted a whole slew of those classic Qantas commercials with the koala saying, I hate Qantas. I hate Qantas for not making those commercials any more! They were great!😂😂🐨
That is just so beautiful Fate's fur is really dark, will it get lighter as she gets older? I wish we had koalas wild here in England, they have some at Longleat Safari park which is about 40 miles from me, so once I've had my hip replacement surgery that's where I'll be going for sure

It will get a little lighter, but the koalas here in the South do have darker fur than their northern cousins to help keep them warm in the winter.
