I don’t think The Master of Cruelties and the Alesha activation work in the way that you have identified here.
The Master ability is a triggered ability when it attacks. As Alesha brings it in to the battlefield already attacking, this step is missed so it doesn’t trigger.
Although please correct me if I’m wrong.
