Dog people are the best! **and the best at 'doing up a house' - I'm SO glad they didn't 'Pottery Barn' this house. Love the wallpaper, kitchen, well absolutely everything. I'll be watching this over and over . . .
I love this! So unique to his personal taste; it has a New England coastal feel, without being the same old derivative beach style we see all the time. This cat person is so happy to see the hallway full of dog portraits. A happy and comforting home. :)

OK Susanna, now THIS is my favorite house. Being a new subscriber and catching up on your videos, I found myself saying that after each one I've watched. But it's true this time. Did Ken say how old the house was? Not that I need to know. The older the house and furnishings, the more in awe I am. Seriously, I get the chills.

One of my favourite homes, even outside of your channel here. It's not just the antiques, the cultivated atmosphere, the handmade charm and the location; it's the novelty of seeing an alternative idea of a beach house. So warm, welcoming and best of all suitable for all seasons. I can just imagine how charming and inviting this house seems when entertaining guests 'off season'. Absolutely gorgeous. My thumbs up and comment from years ago has disappeared I just noticed on rewatching this gem so thought it my duty to repost my compliments in support of channel growth and personal, human support. xo :)

My favourite house, by far! The kind of house in which I would feel truly relaxed and mellow. Everything from the art, to the sofas, to the kitchen cabinetry, to the mural make my heart sing, sing, sing!

Reminds me of our family cabin on a lake in the northern woods of Michigan. No pretense, lots of memories.... barefoot & chill..... with a prevailing mood that beats the most lavish of settings.

I love the word "restoration". Beautiful home. I share these videos with my friends so they can realize I am not a hoarder, but a collector.....who needs better organization but I love the pieces I've added-I buy them because I like them or think my family will appreciate them.

Really beautiful renovation/restoration of a very special old property. As a long time Provincetown resident who knew the previous owner and somewhat of the history of this house, it was interesting to watch the transformation. I am happy to see that you did not try to make it into something it wasn't intended to be. Obviously great taste and, equally important, much love went into this project. Congratulations.

Oh my! Tanner Brown is the color you get when you dye Oxblood colored field boots with black. It is luscious and reminds me of well-made tack that is 40 years old. Tally Ho!
I liked this house. Coming from England it was certainly a more familiar size to me - as some of the houses featured from the USA are enormous - but grand. I loved his choice of wall colours. Great dog portraits.

What a charmer, the warmth and coziness created with the colors used is perfect. The living room (?) with the beautiful rich hues is my favorite, and that stove and that little bedroom with the bay window and those dog portraits running along the hall and of course the sweet looking dogs. What fun to see, thank you so much for taking us on another great tour. We are so lucky to get to tag along with you on these visits, the gentleman whose house it is, is so kind to let us enjoy it too.

Over the years, Provincetown has become a sort of a Disney tourist destination. The real history and charm of the town with its mix of Portuguese immigrants, international artists and unpretentious shops and eateries has been washed away by wealthy second or third home owners who like to think it is still a unique and authentic place. The landscape is...that's pretty much the only real things left.
