i love the profile picture @Errichto, Merry christmas
SlavicG made it
I used to do competitive programming..but I was not good at it...I always give up early...But one thing is certain that I love it. I didn't understand the things you said in the video while explaining. But I subscribed to ur channel coz its so beautiful watching you ❤️ solving greatest problems on earth...You are amazing KAMIL☺️...
such a genius..You are so kind and calm...while doing ur job... Thankyou Brother for showing me the real taste of computer science...I wish I had a brother who can teach me, guide me.❤️
I really admire why and how you attempted to solve the last problem, both because of your desire to win, and the lengths you went to to get an AC solution (NP-complete optimizer using multiple cores, wow) . In Hindi, I would call you "jugaadu", being extremely resourceful in pursuit of your goals.
Merry Christmas 🎅 and congrats on 200k , journey of a legend man
Always enjoy your videos, Merry Christmas @Errichto!
Very courageous attempt to solve the last problem! Kamil orz!
Also, my opinion, the timer limit in Facebook Hacker Cups in each problem should be slightly higher, cause in some underdeveloped countries, there may exist weaker broadband/wifi speed, which might result in failure to download the test case files and/or upload the solution etc, within the required time.
The test cases/ outputs are in a few kb of size, ig even a 2g connection can download/upload that in a second.
I couldn't solve the 3rd problem in Qualification Round, just cause my puny browser failed to download the 26mb test file within the time limit, which after the round, I got AC. I know what you're going to say, but does making a 6 min limit make that much of a difference to participants' scores. I mean, Google Code Jam or even Yandex Cup doesn't have such rules and yet the competition is still very strong...
@@imranfarid8186 oh thats sad 😅, i agree they should have an online judge
Congrats on 200k🔥🎉🎉
This video helps me get a lot of experience and deal with programming, thank you for sharing it with everyone
Running parallel computation is a little unusual in competitive programming
It is indeed.
Absolutely phenomenal video, much appreciated @errichto
Congrats on 200k subs Errichto.. hopefully you will get one mil soon..
@Errichto is the Best! Congrats on 200K🎈🎉🎈🎉🏆
Happy Christmas Errichto 🎅
love this
Me who just started
print("hello world")
Watching this 👁️👄👁️
And says "WOOAH! IMPRESSIVE!" lol
Step by step, everything is possible with utter responsability and passion!
Should have had some AWS cluster ready for the last problem :D
Congrats bro, well done
We say that this is piece of cake! ~Errichto
Congratulations man, you are amazing programmer. Btw is there a lottery for 200 thousand subscribers :D
So hype in the end ! It's sad you didn't pass the F one, but great decision to skip E. It should have not be a easy to choose this start ! Nice job !
Very interesting approach to the last problem :)
Congratz on 200,000 subscribers
Thanks :)
Good Game.....btw congrats on 200k subs :)
Thanks :)
Happy new year brother 🥳
finally, I saw you new post.
Amazing!!!
The the only thing I have to say is that nowadays your thumbnail of videos are just of different level..
What is the best tutorial for data structures and algorithms for c++?
Merry Christmas brother
Is cpp only way to solve problem fast? Are python or c much slower?
Keep it up, hopefully next time you get #1!
Congo Errichto for gaining a good rank
nice video man very useful 😁😁
Awesome 👍👍
Congrats, you're the best and my motivation. Do you notice your similarity with Khabib Nurmagodev. Merry Christmas
Congrats on 200k
well done !!!
Enjoy your Christmas! 🎆
GG man. Well done.
Can anyone help me? I'm using ubuntu, and CodeForces. I'm trying to select the file that I made in ubuntu but I can't find it so I have to rewrite all of it in the editor on the page. Where do I find it? Thanks.
GRATKI
06:01 I’m amazed you got AC on problem C if you solved it using a frog instead of a turtle
Hey, I'd like to know what he's using to output his code. thanks.
What does parallel computation mean??? Can anyone explain please
"I am from the future"
how do i test n numbers in a terminal by scanning??
Usually how do you get those templates for each problems???
Copy-paste is good enough.
Big fan sir❤️
Hi congrats on 200k
I have no idea but still watch this stuff lmao
Same here man
1:30 how erasing blocks one by one is faster than bruteforce? if every number is unique shouldn't it also take linear time in the worse case to answer a query which is equal to brute? what am i missing?
It's O(N+Q) total amortized time to answer all updates. If numbers are unique and you modify so many of them, they all become one block so next updates are faster.

Please what is the editor and operating system you use

@@Errichto Thank you so much ❤️

errichto did u have problems with your ikea markus as well?
Tbh I didn't expect this question.
Yes, I switched to Ergohuman but it isn't good for my back either.
@@Errichto ty for answering , i'm tall and the markus is probably not made for me. Insane back pain
Wish U a better place in future contests, I believe U could get a better place if U didn't go with skipping E strategy, and I wish if U can do some up-solving for F someday
And I have to say, Ur videos quality are getting better and better, U are making a legacy here
I have an ICPC regional contest on Saturday, maybe U can talk about Ur ICPC experience someday, that would be awesome
Merry Christmas
Is this software programming?
u win bro? i always watch ur video,, but i dont understand hehe....i can do print, input just 2 hehe
@Errichto Can you please explain how the problems are in Div3 contests on Codeforces? Like, what are the necessary prerequisites for participating in them? What should be the learning level to take part in it? I have been attempting to take part in an online contest for some time now, just too afraid to take the step, so hope that you can provide help:)
Who teaches you brother?
I do Java programs , what u are doing I can't understand, can you please tell how u started
He is genius, those years of experience pays off
@@anujeetswain7368 true bro 🥴🥴🥴
Can you do a algorithms tutorial?
I did many in my channel
@@Errichto more please 😀
Can anybody say...which programming language is it?
C++
Hello, i have a doubt,
how did you study to have all this knowledge about codes and programming or do you just know?
Learn a programming language, then start solving coding problems online.
@@Errichto what age did you start programing?

where are the "help me revive my account" comments
Let's just hope that the video doesn't go viral.
Is this an inside joke? Help me understand
@@youaredeadwrong2767 My previous videos show that the word "hacker" in the title implies tens of comments like "please help me hack this account" or "please recover my account". My video is about something completely different.
@@Errichto oh now it makes sense lol. I remember seeing such comments on official Facebook posts of hacker cup as well.
by the way merry christmas
If tourist can't solve it - it is unsolvable.

I didn't know that parallel computing is also used in competitive programming. I have a 400$ 4 years old laptop 😂😂

Irony they don't use their programming skills to create something useful , solve real issues , I myself can't solve a beginner question befor people start hate commenting, my point is that his hard work and talent must find some real world application
Do you claim no participants are software engineers? That's obviously not true.
Unfortunately, the smartest people in the world often enjoy working for other people, instead of being leaders, and the ones that don't tend to be malicious hackers.
@@Errichto nope many of them invest in competitive programming just to land a job at fang, atleast that's the trend here in India and coaching institutes are milking heavily on that dream. Its fascinating to see you solve such complex problems with ease, I was imagining if you could do a series on applying this to some real standing issues which are yet unsolved or needs talented people to work on it. Say optimization of battery performance via smart software that improves battery life and performance, or the auto pilot algorithm on self driving cars, I am sure if a group of competitive programmers Collab and try to solve such an issue that would be great content as well as great contribution to science in general.
@@nuralikhoja8773 I might understand where you are coming from. There could be an objective reality that is going on in parallel, but we live our life based on our perception. This perception is what guides ones thought process. Nirvana is probably when one realizes the meaning of this. Those coaching institutes are cashing in on collective perception of people and in the process also managing that perception using advanced tools from Facebook(Wolf Gupta). When I watch this video, I am thinking.. Ah, cool. When someone from a different culture watches it, they are probably like Oh, such a waste of talent and time, especially when there are real world problems to solve. Your perception of this process is creating that feeling of irony. There is no objective irony. It might help to think about what is driving that perception. Engineer's in the Soviet Union solved endless problems, all they did was solving problems. They kept solving problems and one fine day their entire system collapsed around them. Maybe, for some, it is better to solve some abstract problems and get a kick out of it than to solve a problem as part of the rat race. Do you really think that humanity's problems are in any way connected to the life of a battery. Think again! That is a narrative for the time being. pudding.cool/2020/12/lighting-cost/ Similarly, throughout history narratives are set for people to identify with and be a part of. These rat races are continuing throughout history, civilization rise based on this race and then in the long term collapses. Peace.
