John..I don't mean to be rude but the lady that got bitten was Canadian who understands the signs..it was her own fault..I just pray they don't blame poor Lincoln like they did the lovely Indigo when the lady fell after she had had 3 warnings from ĥim previosly..your concern is praiseworthy but it was HER FAULT..I am more concerned about Lincoln being blamed rather than a stupid moman who should have known better..rant over but thank you for your concern 👍👍

He’s not saying hello, he saying get out of my space…😮

  • @marianpower6711

Poor horse must be sick of all those people pawing at him.

  • @leximarie3808

Ormonde must be holding classes in the stable on how to deal with insufferable tourists. Good boy Ormonde.

  • @KittyDillion

@john-never apologize for the horses, the signs are up, the dummies still stick their hands all up in there.

I'm from the US and I am so surprised by the lack of respect that tourist have for the kings life guard and their horses.

Sorry that the young lady was bitten. However, this is a lesson for all who get too close to these beautiful animals. Horses bite, that is a given, stop giving them a target by flapping your hands near their mouths.

  • @vivaldi1948

Your willingness to jump in and insist that she seek help shows your true nature. Thank you John!

John, I feel bad when people RESPECT the WARNING SIGNS and still get bitten. HOWEVER, when they stand at the HORSE'S HEAD RIGHT INFRONT OF THE SIGN, I find it difficult for me to have any sympathy for them. You are a more sympathetic person than me. I DO feel bad when a small child being held by the parent gets bitten, but I hold the parent responsible for the pain the child is going through. I feel it Wrong to blame the Guard or the Horse!

I am an Asian but I have the utmost respect for these cavalrymen. They are trained soldiers on trained horses. Such great discipline required in carrying out their duties- both man and animal. To sit on horseback or to stand at attention while all these baboons are milling around them, passing caustic remarks requires a lot of grit. God bless each and every one of them!

  • @marilyncasabuena4275

The Warning Sign was placed on the wall for a reason. Take it seriously for your own safety. Ignore it & face the consequences of your actions. Accept responsibility. You need to bear in mind that horses are strong & unpredictable. Use caution in their presence…

John, in answer to your question about a horse's mouth strengthen - The jaw strength (masseter muscle) of a horse is about 500 psi (pounds per square inch) Humans are usually less than 200 psi, while a Pit Bull measures 235 psi (#3 dog breed in jaw strength) Because of the great deal of force exerted by an equine in closing its jaws, the severity of injuries may range from mild superficial pressure trauma, cutaneous breaks of the skin, deep lacerations with loss of tissue, and injuries to blood vessels and nerves, to amputations of digits and fractures.

I don't understand why ppl put their hands right under horses mouth? Horse may think there is a snack being given. I'm not afraid of horse but would not impose on their space. Sending sunshine to UK from Winter Haven, Fl.❤

  • @paulettebillinge

Who can blame the horse for biting? Most of the morons annoy the horse and they don't stop.

  • @janisoconnor6881

Good morning John. Wanted to tell you I was on Pinterest last night and found a wonderful picture of the black horse Invader. It was newspaper article in London. He was one of 2 horses chosen to walk behind the Queens coffin with the royals following. He at that time was 19 years old it said he was the fastest horse in the company and never put a hoof wrong. Love the picture of him with his white eyebrows. I saved the picture.

That was very nice of you to look after her. You are a gentle man and an ambassador for Horse Guards.

I had no clue that they would help and even took her in to get treatment. That is above and beyond. Good job everyone even you to be so kind and help out. Its nice that the police know you and you are there to help public in the way you do.

Think the reason you have such a great audience is because even through the camera, your genuine concern and respect for the horses, guards, and the people are always shining through. Today is no exception. Why so many of us flock to your channel.
