@@AlexisStreams Be careful about which verison of the 54 Godzilla you watch though. There are some old US cut version that made it so that there is an American in there, who describes whats going on. ^^

@@DeadlyBeast205 I've been a fan of Godzilla for almost 20 years, and I've seen all of them. King of the Monsters is probably the best Godzilla movie ever made, *BUT* Minus One is the best movie ever made with Godzilla in it.
If I had to pick one favorite, Minus One. I haven't had a movie hit me that hard in the feels since Interstellar, and I saw that in theaters ten years ago.

You gotta watch "Godzilla Minus One" (2023) and "Shin Godzilla" (2016), and of course the OG: "Godzilla" (1954). Of the 33 (!) Japanese G-Films produced the last 70 Years, these three are, without a doubt, the most essential ones.

@@niefali I was referring to minus one but yes. In fact that’s an entirely different film from the original. The one with Aaron burr was the 1956 Godzilla King of the Monsters which was the edited and Americanized version of the 1954 classic Godzilla (Gojira). Basically different films
“The Monster Who Ate a Star” gotta be one of the hardest name’s Godzilla has gone by

It actually boggles my mind how many people don’t get suko was setting kong up. Even without the novelization spelling it out, every bit of the little guys body language shows he was playing king to get killed by the serpent.
Fun fact: The in Universe reason Godzilla Sleeps in the Colosseum is because it reminds him of his old home The Underwater Temple in Godzilla King of the Monsters (2019) which was destroyed during his resurrection in the movie.
Because humans want him back to defeat Ghidorah but Godzilla need some rest to heal himself before the fight

The 10th Anniversary of The MonsterVerse.
These iconic titans together have given us nothing but goodness.
Kong for 90 years, Godzilla for 70 years and being part of this has been so entertaining.
Movie No. 5, GxK is amazingly good.
I saw it IMAX 3D with a packed house, opening weekend.
The science, history, culture of this universe is vast.
Some people go to watch these movies for the battles, but the background of such things are interesting to me and because everything has a reason to exist.
The human characters are important (they are).
Subtle connections from us to these beasts and beyond aren't just
because of the same world, different levels.
These Titans are the showstoppers, established or newly introduced, ally or threat.
Loved the homages to the classic films with Godzilla's newer colors (Godzilla 2000 from 1999)
and Kong's Powerhouse mechanism harnessing energy (King Kong vs. Godzilla from 1962).
As for the battles, they are beyond incredible with the effects and Mo Cap, savage yet articulated.
After all the hype and success of this film, you gotta wonder what could happen next?
So much more they can pull from the classics to add in for this universe.
Either way, we want more.
That skar king reveal was unreal
The reason why Godzilla likes the colosseum is because the architecture reminds him of his temple in king of the monsters which got blown up during his resurrection

What I like about this movie, is every single time we see Godzilla he's either heading to kick ass, or kicking someone's ass.

I can remember being around 6 or 7 years old, spending numerous Saturday afternoons in my living room, engrossed in Godzilla movies. Fast forward to today, at 54 years old, I have been a devoted fan of Godzilla for nearly 50 years. I have watched every movie in the franchise multiple times and am eagerly looking forward to my second G-Fest in Chicago in a couple of weeks. For me, Minus One isn't just the best Godzilla movie - it's one of the best movies I've ever seen.
I am genuinely hoping you decide to react to Minus One, I would love to hear your reaction to this incredible film.
Regarding this movie, as someone who loves the cheesy Godzilla movies of the 60s and 70s, I found this one to be a bit too much. It was a fun watch, but it was also so ridiculous that it made my head hurt. I can picture myself watching this from time to time when I'm in the mood for some mindless fun. It's a fantastic time to be a fan of the big green lizard.
It may not be as good as minus one but it A FUN ASS MOVIE BRO😭🙏
