If you're wondering why all comments for this video are only from this past month, it's because last year CZcams disabled all comments from my channel. They finally re-enabled my comments a few weeks ago week but, unfortuantely all previous comments are gone. Anyways, I'm so happy to finally be able to hear from you all and engage. :)
22 Vision This is so nostalgic how did you find them? Must have taken a lot of work 👍
Yes it did take a lot of work but was able to track them down. Google was a big help of course. :)
22 Vision thx for replying! 👍
Can you maybe do a film crawl on Home Alone 2: Lost in New York?
This video deserves a comment section
Who’s crying when you hear the ending music?😭 Knowing that it’s been 30 years already since this movie released
Hell ya
me🤚
Looks like the algorithm found another late night gem.
Thank you so much. I worked very hard on this video and comments like this is what drives me to create more. :)
Is that the guy who delivered the pizza because he favors him 😆 I love this video
OMG!!! Hahahaha 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
True, I was excited to see all the real spots from home alone. Just happened to stumble across this one late night too.
Agrees
Home alone will always be one of the best Christmas classics! 😭😫
Imagine the house decorated just like in the movie and available on Airbnb... Many of us would want to spend a few winter nights there !
Saddly they had to change it because it was out dated and old and wanted a new change I though the same thing till my mom told me
I think it’s on Airbnb idk I saw an article
Also could be that the interior was a stage set and not the actual house interior
@@chadhindsley5431 it actually was not
@@chadhindsley5431 the real owers lived there still during filming and had to stay out of camera shot meaning crawling below window level etc.
Apparently the perants of said family helped with setting up the stuff kevin tossed at the crooks 😂
I have to say, this is PERFECT and everything a film location video should be. You get to the point but there's still some humour... You show us the locations now, then as they appear in the film, followed by another modern shot so we can really appreciate it. Congrats! I've seen some very self indulgent versions of these kind of videos with more talking than actual locations so thank you pal... great stuff
you know kugan yeah Your comment means everything to me. Thank you so much. Comments like these is what inspires me to make more content.
I feel like crying... thank you for this memory reboot 😢❤
I love this movie . This is awesome.Brings back memories. One of the best movies of all time.
The 90s christmas has some real vibe
Agreed
The whole neighborhood in this movie is a character itself. It just creates an amazing atmosphere.
Every time I hear the John Williams score for this movie - it takes me back to my 7 year old self... what a nostalgia classic 🎄
It’s 2022 & 🎉🎉🎉🎉 Home Alone is still my favorite holiday movie ❤
Home Alone will always be one of the greatest Christmas movies of all time , I am 44 now and this brings back so many memories. Love this thanks :)
I miss the 90s
broski for real
Me too
One of the best locations crawl I've seen!
Thank you so much! Means everything to hear you say that. Inspired to do more.
Just visited the McCallister home and the church when I was in Chicago this past November! Was awesome to see these iconic locations in person.
Is it dark inside the house?
Can you go to the door and knock because it would be great to knock.
@@its_galaxy2445 It's pretty dark it looked like no one was home and funnily enough there was a plumbing van a few houses down I kid you not, Aqua was the name of the company I believe. I wouldn't knock because looking at the house on google maps I saw that the owners blurred it so not a good indication lol.
Christmas is not Christmas without Home Alone. Good job.
Hugs from Brazil.
Home Alone is a legendary film. This house is the legendary home in the world. I love to watch two parts of this masterpiece before the new year.🎄🎅
This is one of my all time favourite movies. Always brings back memories from Christmas when younger, as every year I would watch Home Alone with out fail. Watching your video brings so much back.
Thank you so much. Your words inspire me to create more videos.
One of my favorite childhood movies
There's just something about this movie that always puts a smile on my face ☺️
It's really cool that your cousin dress as Kevin❤
Loved this movie
man i miss this so much
i watch this movie every christmas and i never get tired of it
Its so cool seeing the trees are still the same
This was unexpectedly satisfying. Thanks for the nostalgic trip down memory lane.
THIS HOUSE IS SO LEGENDARY NOSTLAGIC❤️
I think that you do a really good job here matching the film scenes with the real scenes. Great that you managed to get access to the house back yard as well - they must get totally sick with that. Keep up the good work.
Broke my heart to know the kitchen and basement stairs were fake
Yeah. I was surprised as well. Movie magic for ya!
When I first saw Home Alone, I was like, "why does this house look so familiar?" Turns out, I lived in the neighboring subdivision and I drove past the house all the time.
That’s so cool
That's awesome
This is really one of the best videos on CZcams!
Thanks!
Hands down one of the best holiday movies. Cool to see the locations. Thanks for doing this.
yeah! your right it's the best holiday movie ever! (in my opinion) 😃
I wanna cry 😭😭 of joy of course, this is one of my favorite movies of all time, I rewatch it every year and I can't wait for the Christmas season to come, I'm so excited!
Thank you for this video, it meant a lot ❤
Very nice. I love Home Alone. Been to the Home Alone house twice. came from Sydney Australia! Then drove down to see my Packers play!
I've also been to the Swimming Pool from Home Alone 2, which is in the four seasons hotel in Chicago. Only found out because we were talking about going to the Home alone House when we stayed at The Fours season. and they told my wife and I about it :)
Thanks for making this I can’t believe that they bricked off the back of that house AND dug a hole to make those steps to nowhere. Never would imagined.
9:34 that music by John Williams still gives me chills
I am 26 and just watched this movie for the first time! I loved it. I was a skeptic as to whether or not the neighbourhoods were real or “staged”. Cool to know they’re real
You're cute.
Thank you for this amazing video! Love it! Best Christmas film ever!
So nostalgic! I was born in 1984, was 6 years old when the film came out. Now I have two kids of my own and they love it also)
Very Climatic and awesome. What a feeling and moving
Thank you so much. Comments like these are what inspire me to create more content. :)
Lets be all Honest Home alone 1 and 2 Are the best Movies to watch for Christmas
I'm very late to the "party" of this video but far and away it is the BEST Home Alone filming locations on CZcams. Thank you so much for putting such effort in it's complete look back. Brings so many memories of growing up watching Home Alone repeatedly at Christmas.
Me n my sister loved this movie growin up on Christmas break watchin it on the floor in front of the pellet stove while our parents laid on the couch, with the Christmas tree and decorations up!!
This was really awesome!!! I appreciate your efforts in the making of this great video! There’s something about seeing the exact spots of the locations versus during the filming of the movie that intrigues me so much. You nailed it!!
Thank you so much!
That’s pretty awesome you got to experience this. Anyone who was born in the 80s or 90s this is always a favorite. And it’s one of my favorite movies thanks for sharing this👍🏼😎
I will be watching Home Alone now.
The Best Christmas Movie EVER!!!!! ❤❤❤
Props to your cousin for helping you geek out over this classic flick!
Yes. He was a total trouper here! :)

I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t geeked out watching this video!
Something like this and for other movies its always nice to watch.
Thanks so much!
Nice tour, dude. Those locations are so cozy and iconic.
I've watched this movie every Christmas since I was 6 and will continue to do so until my last.
I am watching this video from Azerbaijan. It is really a very interesting film. This film is shown in our country every New Year's Eve. I also love this movie. Every time I watch this movie, I see that the United States is very beautiful. Even in 90 years. You should be very happy to live in the United States.
It really is 😊
@@SveciaS77 of course
@@SveciaS77 To be honest. I envy you.😓😂
How so? I thought Turks/ muslims don't celebrate anything Christmas related.
Omg this was amazing! I would so love to visit all those locations if I was in America
Man, this really bring back memories from the movie. Hope to visit these places in the future. Cheers from Singapore~
Thanks for being a fan! More fun things to come!
very very nostalgic for me! I can't get my mind out of those 90's thoughts because nothing in 2020 is like it was before. Pure people! No inflation! No coronavirus! No Lockdown!
@@vesnastankovic5607 True, but the Corona Virus affects ALL of us.
@@vesnastankovic5607 I am not talking about whole of 90s, talking about 1980 to 2010, things were kind of simple and easy globally.
Things are not the same no more love 80s 90s
@@Ienstien965 yes! it is affecting everything globally!
@@vesnastankovic5607 The world was never fucked up so badly like it is now. During previous wars, some nations were suffering but others were at peace. But now everyone is getting kicked on their butts whether they are at fault or innocent.
This one of the things to do on my bucket list💯🤞🏼
You should!
I just watched the two classic Home Alone movies and they’re awesome.
Great video. Got to admit I'm jealous. A childhood film for me, such a classic film.
Since it came out I’ve watch this video every single year at Christmas
Awesome love home alone . R.I.P John candy
This is my favorite Christmas movie i’m from Chicago Illinois to
One Of The Best Christmas Holidays Movie......Love From India🇮🇳🇺🇲
Am I the only one who prefers movies that are actually shot on location like this? As opposed to all this cgi and green screen stuff. Anyway super cool video!
The house interiors were shot on a soundstage
@@iorreneft really? My childhood was a lie 😂
@@BlueRain508 well not all of it, some parts were actually filmed in the house
My new favourite Christmas video
I love Home Alone so much it’s my favorite movie both 1 & 2❤️‼️
They are both wonderful timeless films! :)
That place is gorgeous and their churches are stunning! Wow! I like the way he edited this video too. Amazing work!
Thank you so much!
This is so amazing!! For real! Thank you for your time to show us! Always will be my Christmas movie!
I love it very much. Thank you for your hard work in filming it. Well done!!!
this video is so well put together
Thank you so much. Comments like these are what inspire me to create more content. :)
@@22VISION i like how you reminded me of the scenes from the movie..... other people do film location videos and they don't show the movie scene to refresh my memory
I miss all cast of home alone ❤️❤️❤️
This is awesome, I can't help feel it's a double edged sword with the McCallister house, being made famous by the films, but with the amount of fans that continuously daily visit, stand outside taking photo's, must have an affect on the house ever being sold.
One of my favorite movies 👍
John Hughes, who wrote the script for Home Alone and also wrote Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and The Breakfast Club, filmed parts of them at Glenbrook North High School where my mom went to high school. The famous ending to The Breakfast Club on the football field, is my mom’s high school football field. When Ferris drives up to school and you see the outside of the auditorium, that was just newly built to Glenbrook North and my mom’s class was the first to graduate in it. :)
I met Macaulay Culkin's brother, Kieran, at LAX Airport in 2007. His brother stated that Macaulay is a laid-back person and easy to talk to. Hopefully, I could meet Macaulay someday.
I missed when Macaulay culkin was a kid
Thanks for Re-creating the Home Alone Memories!❤🙏🏻
You're welcome. I hope to do Part 2 for next Xmas.
I watch this movie and video every single year! marry christmas!
R.I.P
John Hughes
😔🙏🏻
I watch this when it first came on CZcams now it’s popped up on my CZcams feed.
So awesome!
Thanks, I always wanted to see how it looks IRL 😊
I've always wanted to see the Silver Tuna in person. Really nice house!! Hopefully I can one day.
I’ve rewatched everything home alone movie , never will get tired of it . I remember being home along and wanting to act like Kevin 😂
Years pass, and this becomes a bigger classic, it’s almost timeless. Chicago is such a great Christmas town.
wow good memories i miss my childhood 😩❤️🥺
Hahaha we live in the Murphy House and I believe you filmed my Dad lol
Wonderful Video 😊
You are so lucky :)
@@vikrambansal1375 haha why is that?
@@policeofficersandy8057 because you get to live home alone a little in real life :P
@@vikrambansal1375 True enough
I remember when they shot the Movie ...pure chaos for weeks in our normally pretty quiet Neighborhood
@@policeofficersandy8057 really ? The movie is like 30 years old...and you look pretty young....:/
Was on my recommended. Thank you for sharing the memories and moments. It's Christmas in July baby! :D
The McAllisster's sure lived in a beautiful neighborhood.
As much as I love John Hughes films, whenever I think of Chicago in the 80s, and in to the early 90s, I think of Wax Trax Records. Chicago had a great industrial music scene in those days.
