Wow, what a wonderful pass! Wow, what a wonderful stunning villages along the pass! Fell in love immediately. Thank you so much for showing us such marvellous places. Bravo! Greetings and gratitude from country Azerbaijan.
Drove here some years ago (I think it was in 2014), in the other direction, from Sterzing to Bolzano. It is a beautiful mountain road, we also stop at the restaurant on the top, was very nice. Thanks for sharing and bringing back nice old memories, greetings from a road-tripper from Germany!

Hi Sigi, thanks a lot for this beautiful video again! I would also love to ride the Penser Joch (just as an example), and the only time of year I could do it would be a small timeslot early May. You successfully went there in September. In my experience, there are still many roads closed in May - including many parts of the Route Des Grandes Alpes i would like to drive. So my question: is there a website/guide/book/service - whatever - that lists where and when road closures / winter closures are in effect? That would be incredibly helpful! Thanks & regards, John
Google is a good start to look for opening and closing times for the various mountain passes across Europe. For Switzerland, I usually use the following website alpen-paesse.ch/en/
