- This video shows the Top 20 countries by the total annual carbon dioxide emission (CO2 emission) from 1960 to 2017. United States contributed to almost 1/3 of the entire world's CO2 emissions in the 1960s but China and India started catching up in the early 2000.

Which software/tool have you used to create this video?
It would be quite easy to code this in Javascript.
USA: haha we pollute the earth the most.
China: hold my rice...
**Earth has joined the chat.**
**Natural disasters have joined the chat.**
**Mankind has left the chat**
On of the most underrated comment ever
US Does not pollute the most we may make a lot of CO2 But our waters and waste management is far better than most other countries like China and India
Do u know why USA water and environment is cleaner than china and India? Bc u dump ur trash to China for the past 3 decades, China helped the entire European countries to clean their wastes! And bc of ur greedies, China has to sacrifice the environment and get all those rare earth metals so American and make more bombs to home the others.
@@courier3567 hahaha, better than India I trust, better than China? Please come to look by yourself.
@@JerryFeng-tq6sy China is the top water polluter in the world with 8.8 million tons of plastic ending up in water.
All countries have the right to development, and everyone has the right to live a rich life, which is equal. The comparison of carbon emissions per capita is the most fair and reasonable criterion.China's per capita carbon emissions are still very low. The per capita carbon emissions of the United States are very high, several times higher than China's.
Its funny cos other countries started to decrease
Why would that solve climate change, No... So a country that can't control it's population it's ok to polute the world... WTF
@@philliangbeihai5388 This exactly, these comments have too many china bots
but their emissions to gdp ratio is very low meaning they are super inefficient
Nice to see the UK slowly getting on top of our emotions. Bit we could do a lot more given how many renewables we've got access too
maybe you should compare this chart to one that shows what products are being made in what country , oil refineries , steel manufacturing , industries where a lot of energy is being consumed . oh and everyone is involved wherever you live , as you have certain way of life
The Moral is that countries should reduce their co2 emissions.
Entertaining to see Poland and Italy fight for most of it
and... Canada.
Now canada is double.
And pop-wise Poland is ~40m Italy ~60m and Canada ~40m. Shame!
This is amazing graph. Shows how much factories got shut down in my Russia after the fall of USSR. Even 2006 crysis!

Russia: sorry for being late, I stood in traffic

And that traffic is Soviet Union.
Fair play to the uk cut co2 in half.
Hop fully the rest of the world follows what the U.K. did
Hopefully*
@@TrainsLater they are following what UK did... First destroy the earth then clean it... But I don't see UK cleaning anyway...
It's shame list. Props to USA for trying to decrease CO2 emission in the end
Uh... Donald Trump is president. He ain't decreasing no emissions, dawg.
@@SADebre , actually the US has been decreasing quite a lot... I mean heck look at the end the US easily decreased the most out of everyone. From it's height of 5,785,437 in 2005 to it's final score in 2017 5,045,514.. the US basically dropped the equivelent of Germany's emissions in 2017 by then...
