Really great tutorial, now I know how to play Mirage in the utility role instead of lurker or meatshield (Im still a meatshield but with a smoke grenade)

Can you do one smoke that block vision from connect, jungle and b short? I can do it in csgo , threw a smoke from thrash can at t base, the smoke landed at b short entry and my strat was throwing flash to b short to flash the enemy on b short then rush there.

are there any smokes that actually smoke the top of ticket because every smoke I see just smokes the box and ct leaving it open to somebody just jumping up ontop

Thanks for this. Do you use a jumpthrow bind for the middle click throws? those ones seem harder so a bind might be needed?
Yes I do, they help out a ton with consistency.
what did you mean by "middle click smoke" when smoking stairs on A site?

how do you middle click throw? Middle mouse is ping for me and this is the first time I've ever heard of a middle click throw. Googling does not help

How are u able to noclip when u press a button Fx H = noclip
Please note the mid smoke to CT is a jump throw, the other two arent. This took me ages to work out!

can you explain the mid window smoke further? Mine is always landing before the window, not in it
ah I think I figured it out, he says to press D during jump, didn't get that properly, so you move to the right a bit during the throw, for about half a second, then it lands correctly

Resolution does not affect the lineups :)
Connector smoke doesn't fill up the top like that anymore, may need to update
it does. make sure it land on top of the first step of the stairs.
The Lineup he explains is Impossible, you need to Press "D" before throwing, which carry over a small momentum into the Throw. That also means you got plenty of time for the Jumpthrow after (Same Lineup)

Sorry it’s a bit confusing. It’s a left + right mouse throw at the same time. Everyone typically calls it a middle click throw and I have no idea why.

great vid but cant for the life of me figure out the stair smoke with the middle click. Ive done it 100 times at this point and i get it like 50% of the time after repeatedly throwing and never move my mouse. No idea what im doing wrong.
You have to “middle click” in order to do it I’m pretty sure. Left and right click at the same time and letting go of both of the buttons in order to middle click.
yeah im doing the middle click part and just cant get it consistently, half the time it never hits tetris and goes straight into sandwich.@@itzconnr.
Middle click meas click both buttons at tye same time(left and right) and that does a "middle distance" smoke where it doesn't throw far but doesn't throw short
Just watched a short showing that middle click throw isn't consistent. Yekindar had to bind it to R to make it consistent

A middle click jump throw is when you do a left and right click jump throw at the same time!
For some reason this conn smoke is not consistent enough for me, I ended up finding my own lineup from the same spot but with run jump throw and it's way more consistent. It's in the bottom part of the rug, bottom left part of the 3rd triangle when counting from the right side

I do almost the exsact same line up in the video and it works 99% of the time for me accept I aim slightly up and to the right on the next little brown corner on the rug

All servers are 64 tick with sub-tick enabled now. Faceit, MM, Premiere, etc is all the same tickrate.

No, it’s to trap players that were closer up to mid. To get arches fully, you’d need two smokes.

There is a "moan" of a player if it's a jump-throw.
The point isn't for you to watch it once and have it nailed down. I think the pace works for me since I can quickly watch the vid, take a mental note of any nade I want to try, then scan back to the part for the specific lineup.
Sorry if it’s a bit fast, this series is to just try to get as much information out as possible. I have longer form utility videos out there, but these are either for a quick refresher or just exposure.
