Instead of IBIS or lens stabilization we need a device to stabilize the subject we want to photograph.
That kind of stabilization was already invented, it's based on a round piece of lead.

But to be fair, the US (once again) uses an older pronunciation, since Solder comes from the French Souder, the L was apparently added to conform with Latin etymology (I'm raising my eyebrow just as high as you probably are), and it wasn't until some time after the spelling was adapted that 'proper English speakers' started pronouncing the L. English is weird, and ejective consonants are even weirder, and changing the spelling of words just because they're French in origin is inane to me.

The "Stripper Detect" works perfectly in my Panasonic cameras, but due to the lack of strippers lately I use manual focus. I think its a stripper union squabble thing you and Markus could work on. Maybe bring Gerald in for some stripper detect mode bench marking?

Age-detect auto-focus is legit possible and useful! You'd probably use it for the young and not the old. I'm sure we'll have "person detect" instead of "people detect" at some point... "I'm the star and I never want to be out of focus."

In the past, Panasonic sold camcorders where one could register a face by taking a series of pictures of it. Then, during recording, it would prioritize that face for AF. It then also would allow you to select recorded clips, based on what person the camera had recognized in the shot (you could register multiple faces). I can't say I ever used it after playing with it. The feature was dropped from more recent cameras.

I'm recovering from Covid, with nothing better to do, and even I don't have time for this nonsense (regardless of the excellent production quality). Still, I am grateful that there is a camera that will prioritize me because of my advanced age.
I recently went on holiday and noticed that nobody was carrying cameras, only smartphones. The one or two people I did see with cameras were old men (years 50+) made me feel embarrassed to carry a camera
