There is an opening under my charcoal filter, i have a Samsung as well …have you heard of this… The one you have has a metal bracket or something covering right underneath it but mine it’s like it’s missing
Thank you my man! The manual is kind of obfuscating to me, doesn’t even mention to slide the grate to the left and then removing it carefully with the door open! It the manual doesn’t even state that you have to rotate the microwave physically a couple times throughout the installation process either, or even that the filter woill be at an angle. Thank you friend!
Part 2 Lol; the manual doesn’t specify which “slot”it goes into specifically, it shows the two rightmost slots which could be a flat, width first placement or a flat, length first placement. It does have a tiny picture with “mesh-up” picture which is good I guess.
Yes. Depends on how you position fan during install. Check my video I posted on installing the microwave. Only using front exhaust into house if don’t have exhaust vent.
I looked at my charcoal filter today and asked myself, “Why is it laying Flat??” The exhaust air just blows right OVER it, rather than THROUGH it. So I decided to use the two tabs on each side of it and laid the filter Slanted, with the farthest ends of the filter resting on the two protruding tabs. Now the exhaust has nowhere BUT to go through it. I dunno, just made more sense to me. 🤷🏻♂️
