    I noticed Jordan’s trick. When he lifts off it’s so far from the rim the defender tries to lift off and time the jump at the same time but doesn’t have the same hang to stay in the air as MJ. It’s a mind trick if you think about it. Forcing someone to respond rather than a timely anticipated attempt. Genius.

    • @bondson0094
      @bondson0094 Před měsícem +1

      In some instances..that might be true but there were many instances where Jordon challenged a 7 footer waiting for him at the rim. Mike could jump flat footed off one foor or two fee and elevate. over you ....the Famous dunk on Ewing going baseline was a perfect example. Mike spun base line took two quick steps to a waiting Ewing and bang history.

      Dudes were just lucky to get out of the way…MJ scared everyone, always the attacker on both sides, attack was his response. Knock ball loose, get ball, breakaway facial, no one wants to be a part of that image. I’d credit lamo for trying, but we all know he’s a dirty rotten b, which just adds to him getting yammed all over. I hope lamo’s family was watching haha.

Bulls fan for life, these days I can like Daly rip, dennis, dumars, egh with salley and Isaiah, but not lamo.

    Hard to overstate how important Jordan’s freakishly large hands were to his game. It allowed him to jump quickly without having to worry about the ball being secure in his hand and it let him maintain control of the ball upon contact with the defender.
    Sean Kempe and Kobe, two high flyers with relatively small hands, could not do what Jordan did here without making adjustments to ensure the ball didn’t fly out of their hands. As Phil Jackson said, Michael had billion dollar hands.
