It's really a beautiful yet sad story, a part of me kinda wished she could have been saved, but even herself admits she wouldn't have wanted to be put in a cage to be "rehabilitated" again.
Well, maybe she would have if Ochaco wasn't dying so she had to sacrifice herself, I believe being put in a cage with someone you love still being there is better than dying. Or perhaps not I don't really know what Horikoshi was planning for her on that aspect. She was kind of a free girl in many aspects, she didn't like the labels basically.
Could have been nice seeing Ochaco fight society for her to be able to have a place in it maybe. But after all she's done, does she really deserve it?
I guess we'll have that answer by the end of MHA, kinda like we did with Naruto.
Toga sadly clung to her principle of living exactly as she wanted to the point of euthanizing herself to save Ochako. Glad she saved Ochako, don't get me wrong, but Toga could've gone on to do good in her life.

If Himiko had been dealt better cards per say imagine how the villains would struggle if she got a blood sample of Shigaraki.

So is Toga actually dead? Ngl, I would be super happy if she wasn't, but even if she is, I have to say hat she's probably one of the best characters in all of My Hero. So compelling. And this was also the point where I realized how well-written Uraraka is too ngl.
We don't know, personally I sincerely doubt it the fact it's a cliffhanger seems to argue in my favor along with her bio stating unknown instead of dead.

Miss Stabby Pants doesn't deserve it at all remember she had plenty of chances to get help but she made her choice to become a serial killer psychopath when nobody forced her besides she's the type of villain that deserves to die for the sake of others and prison realistically at this point was no longer an option just like how they took Villians like muscular and Clown For One to prison only for them to break out and kill more innocent lives and Heroes even children also what about her victims and families of their victims??? Has Ochako ever considered them just like the innocent old lady toga killed and impersonated??? Nope so it makes absolutely no sense I mean they faced off against other villains throughout the series so what makes toga and the other 2 murdering stooges so special??? Not to mention this wouldn't be the first case where someone's child becomes a Killer so she doesn't deserve any forgiveness or sympathy just pity. Besides there are other characters who go through worse like the non human characters and they decided to become Heroes

That's what depresses me, though. Dying "on her own terms" meant throwing away the potential her life still had. It's like saying to a villain that he should just off himself.

All Might should've died during his fight with All For One. Him still being alive at this point has overall just ruined his character, seeing as he's literally become a shell of what he was. Why even have him around? Can ANY of you give a legitimate reason??
Because him dying would have been cliche. It's an overused trope all might would have died, and then deku who would have gone beyond etc.
@@RainPhoenixTilla I agree. Besides him not dying proved not all of Night Eye’s visions were always set in stone. He once predicted deku would die to overhaul, but that future was changed.
I like that he didn't die. All Might still has his own quark outside of OFA that makes him incredibly strong.

I will refer to this arc as the Sakura effect: an under developed and ship heavy female protagonist who gets a hype moment towards the end with very little buildup leading to it. Regardless, I'm glad that she is finally getting that moment, given how sidelined she was for several arcs at a time
Which girl are you referring to, Toga or Ochako?
If Toga, much time was spent with her identification with her quirk as something normal and natural. During the My Villain Academia arc in particular.
If you mean Ochako, then you don't get her character arc at all. Her whole goal from the start has been to put smiles on other people's faces, and encountering the problem of struggling heroes. Yes, that quickly tied with her budding feelings for Deku, but it makes sense because she's afraid to be selfish. Ochako's ownership of her own feelings dovetails beautifully with Toga feeling accepted.

I'm sorry to say this but Miss Stabby Pants did not became a Hero in the End because she pretty much took the coward's way out to avoid facing the consequences of her actions finally getting caught since she's literally afraid of getting caught also the toga chapters throughout the final arc are nothing but a boring sob snooze fest with her complaining about how bad she has it even though she made her choice to become a Evil Crazy psychopathic Love sick Serial Killer who hates herself but enjoys slaughtering others and most importantly I cannot believe that they ruined Ochako's character with her message and speech against the crowd back in season 6 by redeeming one of the killers who's responsible for everything by turning her into a massive delusional idiot vowing her entire life for the same killer who stole her identity 3 times throughout the series and during the confrontation back in season 6 when toga literally killed a innocent old lady just to ask stupid questions distracting Ochako from saving lives from the chaos and destruction she and her friends have caused. Toga tries to justify her actions being a serial killer even flat out lied to Ochako about her fight against curious with Ochako's anger towards toga being absolutely and understandably justified but here she desperately wanted to save toga with the talk no jutsu Crap from Naruto for no logical realistic reason at all even after toga stabbed Ochako in the stomach also what about Toga's victims and families of their victims? Did Ochako ever had any consideration about them??? Nope so it makes absolutely no sense of why toga needed to be saved despite everything she's done especially to Izuku if you really think about it so what makes her so special??? Because plot of course Most of all so After everything toga has done throughout the series for years even from the years she ran from the police before and after she joined the league of losers, she literally got redeemed and cured from her madness with Ochako calling her smile cute(WHICH IT'S NOT).😤 This seriously pushed me to my boiling point 😡 no joke where I wanted to go out on a rage like The nostalgic critic does it in his reviews but it's not worth it anymore.
