Adam put some soul and rock into this song with a funky beat. His vocals are unbelievable and you can dance to it. Would love this as a single and played on radio stations including R&B. Plus it has that Missy Elliott sound to it.

The vocals are off the chart and completely next level. In Tina's version it was the percussion that grabbed yah and if you're in the car when that song starts you're cranking it. But in this arrangement it's the bass that's got me into it. I love this arrangement. It's very cool! 😀

I LOVE this song, I've heard Tina Turner perform it live in concert three times and it's one of my all time favorites. And I LOVE your version, Adam, the arrangement, the way you've kept the rhythm and changed it around with a slower soul/funk/R&B beat; and the vocals are spectacular! I had no idea this song had been covered so many times. By God, there's even a disco version. Missy Elliott's used to be my favorite..... until Lambert came along and blew everyone out of the water. "Ring of Fire" aside (I LOVED his version, but I understand it wasn't for everyone [Randy Travis]), I'd LOVE to see him tackle some country some time. I don't think there's any genre he can't twist inside out, folded twice over and make it sound DAMN fine.
