I would’ve liked to see what kind of bond grew between Claire and Mick if he’d lived. Mick tried to console her, and attempted to keep her safe from the werewolf. Had Mick survived, I think that he and Claire would be pretty close friends.

They only try to keep children from hunting not adults, and that is how it should be. They don't understand why a child would choose the hunter life when they wanted to do anything but be a hunter when they were children.
Considering her storyline and backstory I think her personality is a realistic and believable. She is damaged yes but I like her, her attitude is from being hurt and damaged but she's getting better as she gets older and heals. Like young adults and teens who have bad backgrounds many have developed similar attitudes as a way of protecting themselves against that hurt and trauma. Sadly many people can't see past the defense mechanisms and write those children off because of the unlikable front they put up, rather than helping them heal. Claire was collateral damage in a war she was never really apart of. She's the victim who lived and is forever changed. Her innocence was stripped from her through no fault of her own, and things only got worse from there, the hits kept coming I think dean relates to her on that level. She is also representative of one of the many reasons why the boys and cas fight to stop what happened to her from happening to others. That they were inadvertently the cause of her trauma is their unfinished business. Healing is a process and a slow and often an ugly and difficult one but it can happen and Clair's character demonstrates that. It is believable every time we see her she is a bit more mature and likable than the last time and seems a bit more at piece with herself.
she was nothing to me at first but then considering what she has been through all those years!a father who is taken away by an angel,a stupid husband obsessing mom,being in the juvenile surly sucks!it's just the fact that she turned to the wrong people pissed me off but after that she turned into a very interesting character
