Great job Dale! My vote was to keep them shiny...but you won me over with the bluing. They look fantastic. I've been meaning to pick a set of of those abrasive wheels since Magdad introduced them. Keep the videos coming!
Good decision on the Bluing. As it looks super Each tool I use it on looks different. I think it depends on the actual metal content and possibly the heat treat. It makes me smile like you did when I use it.
Dale, if the writing is intact, I wouldn't dip them unless you couldn't save it. It looks like they have the old "Champion Dearment" label which make them pretty old. I have several 420's this old or older and finding more always puts a smile on my face!...lol
Perfect Start Mr. Dale! 420 is a classic! And boy you had ne laughing out loud when you said "not sure what the hell happened to that first one"😂 talking about those nlyon wheels..lol.. had tried those yet..but appreciate the keep it under 1500 rpm tip forsure 👍 good stuff!
Great video. Save yourself some money and put heat shrink tubing on the handles. You sure dress nice in the shop. If I tried that my sweater would be the color of a Jiffy Lube uniform.
Got an old set of those pliers myself and use them all the time. I know exactly how Archie feels, always think that I'll do something outside, until the door opens! 😁
Great video and the pliers look incredible! I love those nylon wheels, have been using them for years. If one blew apart, you may have it on backwards, done that a few times and combs go flying everywhere! I usually stack 2 or 3 together, makes them a little stronger and I swear get more mileage out of them. looking forward to seeing your videos this year.
dale like the way they turned out looking good but putting rubber on those ones where the stamp is would cover the stamps up they could be an older model and i think they may not have had rubber on the handels but that's up to you.i was from long island now here in florida i remember swingline a long time ago archie good looking cat heard opie they both sound like my cat take care
I've ran into a few of them 420's they just were a little more than what I wanted to pay I'm thinking late 40's mid fifty's really hard to tell for they don't really change all that much over the years the bluing was the right idea great job Dale I think the blue handle will really set it off
Hey Dale! those came up great! Your bluing came out fantastic That's a hard decision but that polished look is my pick. Great start to the year! How long before Archie changed his mind about being outside?
OPERATION- 'CHANNEL LOCK' is not only complete but, it's a SUPER DUPER SUCCESS!!! WOO HOO!!!!!!!
The Channellocks look great Dale! I'm glad you like those abrasive bristle wheels!
Oh those turned out nice! Great work Dale.
Those old Channellocks look great Mr Dale. Nice restoration.
They turned out great, really like the bluing.
Those look really nice Dale! I like the bluing also. I have the exact same Swingline stapler - still working after all these years!

Nice cleanup. If you’re happy with products you try and like you should leave a link as to where you got them so subscribers can try them.
