    Thank you for sharing Mr. Dale I love watching your restoration videos. I’m currently restoring another 3/8s Snap On ratchet and I found an old pair of Fuller made in Japan pliers that deserve another chance at life also. I’d made videos of my restorations but I’m not good with computers I could never figure out how to make a video LOL. Keep up the good work God Bless

    Those look really nice Dale. I have found that if you put a coffee filter in the funnel when you are saving Evaporust you can filter out a lot of the rust that came off.

      @Dalesworkshop  Před měsícem

      Thank you Bill, I tried the coffee filters and they were too slow for me, I usually use Cheese cloth but I am still looking for something better. Take care and stay cool this week.

    They turned out nice. I don't understand when some youtubers "restore" tools into shiny art pieces never to be used again. Tools are meant to be USED!

    • @Dalesworkshop
      @Dalesworkshop  Před měsícem +1

      Some people like me just like tools and collect them and I'm retired so I don't plan to use them a lot. I guess shiny is a preference and some of mine are shiny and shiny looks good,.Scoutcrafter likes shiny a lot, so my best answer is it boils down to preference and looks. My tools are retired unless I need them again and collecting them is fun.
