Flying the Air Greenland A330neo home!

- In this video we head to Toulouse to meet Air Greenland’s brand new A330-800neo “Tuukkaq”. We join for the delivery ceremony at the Airbus Delivery Centre and then fly the beautiful red airplane on its ferry flight from Toulouse (TLS) to Kangerlussuaq (SFJ). Along the way we take an up close look at the new Premium cabin and economy class, we take part in the delivery ceremony, we chat with @qsgreenland about Greenlandic pronunciation, we talk to the pilots about some of the new features and particularities of the A330neo, we listen to some music by Greenlandic musician Andachan and see a traditional Greenlandic mask dance, and we hear from CEO Jacob Nitter Sørensen about why this was such an important and emotional moment for Greenland and its airline. We also have a special guest appearance in this one by @JoshCahill who gives us his thoughts as the only human as of that day to have been on all the A330-800neo’s of the world. Thank you very much I enjoyed that video immensely, partly due to my once work for an association up till 2003 with Both AIRBUS and Rolls Royce AERO parts I made In the UK as part of a team working 24/ 7 every day and night except Christmas and Boxing day.. We each In turn made parts as Airbus has in a few countries working as a team to be able to build brand new aircraft supplied and outsourced by just normal hard working guys like me and others who enjoyed our small part in the whole puzzle of branded aircraft we love - Thank you all.. Ian - UK and retired thankfully. = And one small but giant praise to AIR GREENLAND for choosing the cheaper weight limit but full passenger quotas allowed to run this new AIRBUS more efficiently and cost productivity, great news, and a wise choice.

Fun to watch. First time I flew Air Greenland (then known as Grønlandsfly / Greenland Air) was in a PBY-5A Canso operated by Eastern Provincial Airways back in the early 1960's.

This is a cool video! Delivery flight from the factory and 1st A330Neo for the airline. It’s like getting a new car but grander. Do they fill the tank on the house for these delivery flights? 2 weeks insurance? 😂. Very nice interiors and recognizable livery! Never been to Greenland. But maybe some day…

I'd flown, most of the Air Greenland/Grønlandsfly's Fleet; Sikorsky S61n ,Dash 7, dash 8, A330-332, but also flown; Maersk Air, Boeing 727-200, Sunjet Sweden Boeing-727, SAS Boeing 767, latest, the scrappy 737, from JetAir...but never, the new Queen; A330 NEO, Look forwards to it! Later this Year, You can arrive directly, in Nuuk.

To help resolve the confusion as to why Greenland the world's largest island but Australia gets to be the smallest continent. The main reason is all about the continental shelf and not the coastline-Greenland is connected to North America to the continental shelf while Australia has its own shelf.
