Not sure if you watch CoolGuy but he gave an excellent reason for Air Trigger...Doing a bunny hop gives Outlaw on demand. Not as bad as you think.

I hope they make dragonfly break the crystal of headstone in the future it will be juicy.
Fun thing i found is that it sometimes does in crucible. If there's another person close enough to take damage from firefly it may burst beside that person causing them to be one shot. Love it when it works. Inconsistent though.

Air trigger is one of the most powerful reload perks bungie has ever added. It has the highest reload scaler in the game (matching outlaw) and you dont need a kill or anything to activate it. All you need to do is bunny hop when you are about to reload and you have the fastest reload in the game. Also the negative effects of air trigger (reduce target acquisition) only applies to shots taken whilst airborne. So dont jump shoot with it and you will have 0 drawbacks. Its amazing how many ppl are sleeping on the most powerful reload perk in destiny.

Its reloading, its like changing an engine in the ship
Sooooo slow lol make sure you put on some reload mods and barrel and mag perks can bump it up quite a bit

It sure does! AOE on tap in PvE and PvP

I hear you, but with the decrease in target acquisition it’s not worth it
Pretty sure it decreases target acquisition while airborne only. So it’s not a big deal in PVE
@JTGoonie i ran it on the crimnals dagger with explosive payload. I just hop to reload and im back on the ground shooting away. Slow reload weapons with this option will definitely be a plus. PvE speaking.
