I feel like it'd work somewhat better if you just printed it solid with all walls so the buzzing from playing can actually travel thru the Trumpet rather than get lost in the infill pattern.
Good point!
It's a giant zazoo😂.
I made a toy trumpet out of a plastic bottle and it is going well 🎉
I be rollin’ up to my marching band with a 3d printed tuba…
I love your isle of dogs posters :0
I want to print this but I dont know which parts i need.
Loved the video btw!!!
You're cool as hell. Well earned subscribe!
Is it the valves themselves that don't work, like if I modified it and put actually metal ones do you think it would work? Or is it just the design overall in terms of tubing length?
I think it's the material itself not being resonant enough. I am curious about brass filaments and the like, though. Lemme know how it goes if you take a crack at it!
@@PattheMovies Thanks! I wanted to make something practical in terms of 3D printing a trumpet so I am going to attempt a pocket trumpet just for fun and make it so that you can use standard metal valve fittings 😁, I will definitely update you on it if I get any decent results!
Good luck!
@@PattheMovies I might try to create my own Trumpet Replica model and print it in resin for a fun little project! If I do, I'll need to let you know how it works!
@@PattheMoviesp-bones have been a thing for a while now I’m no expert but I think it could possibly be the valves not sealing.
good video bro
Pat I really like your show. How did your hydro mod turn out?
All mine stopped lol.
Make a tuba
Sounds like it has major leaks. Is there a pressure spec?
Esta muy bien solo que se sigue sintiendo como una bubusela
Hello greetings, excellent work. I want to help low-income school children with musical instruments. Can you share the files to make them?
- ok, you can go.
- but I still love you
- I love you too, get out of here
😀
Man, do you use valve oil for that?
Nah, just petroleum jelly
If the buttons no work, why no make bugle?
Good video
Thanks! I think the plastic is too weak to resonate the sound all the way through to the bell
@@PattheMovies fair enough. Sorry for caveman speak. I had just woken up
You are slipping down the 3D printed rabbit hole. Let's see how deep it goes.
Also nobody knows how youtube works. Every time someone claims they have figured it out CZcams changes the rules.
All hail the Algorithm!
Great, now I gotta 3D print a rabbit hole
Guess my fingers missed words... musical instrument rabbit hole....
@@_Hanover_ nah, I know what you mean. I'm just trying to be funny :)
ᵖʳᵒᵐᵒˢᵐ
the file is a scan of a brass trumpet so because plastic has a different resonate frequency its not tuned to be a plastic trumpet that's part of the reason
this video gives me weird 2012 youtube nostalgia
eww that last note was flat....that hurt my heart
