Casal 50cc Moped engine.

This is a short video showing me starting up an old Casal 50cc 2 stroke engine. The engine was removed from a Casal three wheeled tractor/pickup. These machines were built in Portugal. From what I understand they were the front end of a moped attached to a pick up body. I cant find much info on the web about this tractor but the mopeds they built were, in my opinion quite stylish. I had a Casal Phantom Five in 1975 , painted in black with gold pin stripes ; a 50cc super moped . It would indicate 65 mph max and gave me no trouble really . The exhaust needed a decoke after two years and maybe I aught to have got a new pipe , but I moved on and got a 250 instead ! It was quite pretty , uncommon , as fast as any top notch moped ... the business . Lol .

Portugal is were they were made ,still have can find parts ther.
