The Crazy Lamp Lady, who know a crazy amount about glass, has said just because a glass piece has a smooth bottom doesn’t automatically mean it’s Murano Glass. Other companies try to copycat. You have to research it to be sure. Just FYI 😊
That is correct it is one of several verifying factors.

Funny you’re attracted to the cherry blossoms. Living in Hawaii w many Japanese descendants friends I learned that the Sakura 🌸 (aka cherry blossoms) for them means “Life is beautiful but fleeting and we do not control it”.

Heads up for pronunciation of summerso. The emphasis is on the ER rather than the SUM or the SO. Try saying submERge, then summERge, summERso. Hope that helps 👍🏻 (I was recently told the correct pronunciation of Bitossi after mislearning it from a YT channel - was so embarrassed 😳)

Probably that first necklace you called Watermelon Tourmaline is Flourite. Tourmaline is VERY EXPENSIVE and a much harder gem that Flourite

Another great video. So many beautiful things. I was thinking of my Grandma and all the beautiful thing's she had. I'm sure she had murano ash trays that they used. She left me a set of pink depression glass with a lot of extra pieces and some vintage jewelry. One piece is a signed Miriam Haskell turquoise or blueish beads and rhinestones it has a thumb clasp. I've been all over trying to research can't find one like it. I've seen a lot of her pieces sell for quite a bit. Sure brings back wonderful memories ❤️

On amberina glass, only the yellow or orange parts do the glowing with the black light, not the red part at all.

As a child I remember that whenever we had guests from Poland they would bring Amber necklaces as gifts. Didn’t appreciate it back then.

What a fun store Danni! I must go there. At the very beginning of the video, I saw a shadow box that was exactly like my moms & passed down to me when she passed. Unfortunately, we were caught in the middle of the 2005 housing crisis & lost everything. Thanks to a crooked lending company...it was a nightmare that we can't seem to get out of. Anyways...it brought tears to my eyes to see one again. Someday I will get one back, maybe not the same one, but thats ok.

I was always under the impression that the orange colored "amberina" glass is actually called persimmon because that's what viking called that color. I agree with you though, I prefer the red amberina.

I go no where to wear jewelry like that. I have a pearl necklace if I dress up which is very infrequently. I hate dressing up. On Viking no dressing up! Love it!
