According to my calculations, there where 324 palettes shown or 334 if the other 10 BH birthstone palettes where shown: 188 kept (Only Sapphire and Citrine from BH birthstone series where shown if I'm not mistaken. If we add the other 10 not shown then that would be 198 kept) and 136 decluttered (counting the Melt stacks as 1 like Angelica mentioned)

Hi. Just a quick suggestion to help declutter after you've decluttered, especially this year with your planned move. Layout all of your palettes that you've kept. Open them so that you can see their shadows. Arrange them in color families. You may seeduplicates that can be eliminated. Merry Christmas to you and Ricardo.
Good advice! I have an album containing pics of my eyeshadow collection & I refer to it anytime I’m considering a new purchase. Seeing similarities really does help!

I've laid my 40ish palette collection open on my bed to take pictures so I can reference it easily. Definitely makes it simpler to shop when looking at new palettes and has helped me pass along a few to friends.
This is the best way to declutter anyways, I never understand why CZcamsrs dont do that😂

Toward the end, I was legitimately convinced you were keeping nothing. THAT's how brutal this declutter was. lol. I'm SHOCKED that you kept more than you got rid of! This video was great to watch. I love YT declutter season!
I moved in August 10 hours from where I was living, and moving my eyeshadow palettes was nerve-wracking because I didn’t want them to break! And I drove! Having to rely on the airplane to not break my stuff would give me so much anxiety! So I will send out the good vibes for your move that everything arrives safely and intact!
I moved a few years ago, twice in one year (it's a long story) and I didn't move far, but I did not trust any of my make-up with the moving company either time! I'm disabled but I loaded my car (slowly and painfully) and took the palettes myself.
I moved from Australia to America and wrapped every single one of my eye shadow palettes in bubble wrap..they went in a shipping container and were on a cargo ship for appx 3 months and I don't think a single one broke!
When you brought out Tiny Marvels...I started crying. I miss watching Mel so much! I actually discovered you because of her...another reason why I am so grateful for Mel!
I like while watching declutters to play a game with myself “what would I keep if I were you”. This showed me that certainly I have a “type” and currently it’s green palette! Was drawn to almost every green in your collection. Nice to get to know my preferences :) Personally I would feel overwhelmed with so many pallets, but I like watching others collections and declutters.

I do that, too. I currently feel very drawn to pastels and brights. So a lot of those would've stayed in my collection :D
I wonder how the choices would be at a different time.

I loved all the blues, reds, and mauvish pinks and aqua/mint/turquoise
I commented this on your other video before but I am still in shock that Mel is gone. Just absolutely one of the most beautiful & strongest souls I’ve ever seen. I just will never forget her brightness and lovely personality. She is greatly, greatly missed. 💔
The counting part at the end is both visual and audible ASMR. I'm not the tidiest person, but watching others clean or tidy up things is very calming. Haven't had the best week, so this was quite needed, thank you! :)

omg, stay strong. I gave up earlier this year and started paying for CZcams Premium. Apparently it gives more money to the creators (but since so few people pay for it, adsense makes them much more money in total)
Gotta get that premium! All I watch is CZcams and I keep it on when I go to bed, so skipping ads every 7 minutes is unacceptable 😆
@@danceillusions13 that used to be the case but not any longer, youtube can and does put ads in whenever they want regardless of creator choices, including on videos that the creator doesn’t choose to monetise themselves. Over the last year the mafia-style shakedown that youtube engages in to force people onto premium has escalated dramatically

Is it just me or did anyone else laugh when Angie said " Am I really gonna declutter 4 Melt palettes?"😂 I'm not gonna lie I would also hesitate. She wasn't lying when she said she was gonna be cutthroat in this declutter
As a big Melt fan, maryjane and radioactive surprised me a little. Pinx I gave away and I didn't even buy 420 after hearing the reviews so they didn't hurt as much!

It's a gorgeous colour story and firs so well with what they'd already released so it's a shame. It would be cool if they reformulated and re-released someday.

I love the Odens Eye small palettes...I depotted all of them for space purposes and saves so much room although I miss the mini packaging.
I am moving to another country in April and I already packed the majority of my palettes, lol. I decluttered quite a few before I packed them, but I think once I’m there, I’ll see which ones I actually missed and declutter more. A bit counterproductive, but I regret having SO MUCH, I wish my collection was more curated.
do it before you move. open it up in like Feb and get rid of anything you don't miss.

As I’m approaching 100 palettes and feeling that the more I have the less I get to use something that I bought cuz I like and was excited to own cuz you can only wear so many eyeshadows during a year, I can appreciate this decluttering. I can’t imagine this been my job!
Congratulations on a successful declutter! Even though I know that having a larger collection is a big part of your job as a CZcamsr, I think you'll love your curated collection. It feels so much better and less stressful to have a collection that you truly love and get good use of.

I counted 135. Great job on the decluttering process. I literally just gave away half of my Colourpop palettes. You still have a great collection. Its hard to get rid of the sentimental ones, but u have to at some point. Thanks for having us along for the ride! 💜💚🖤💛💙

OMG I'm in shock!!! I can't believe you decluttered the Good Sport, the Clionadh palettes, the Hasina 2, all the Certifeye palettes, all the Pinky Rose, the Alma palette, and the KVD pastel goth!!! Feels like the end of an era 😭

You listed so many of the ones that shocked and wounded me too! Pastel goth, S&S, clionadh, hasina2, creepy cute all caused me pain.
The thought of those Clionadh palettes going in the trash omg :(
I don't think she's throwing them in the trash, just giving away, but still! The hand painted art, the hand pressed shades curated in there... And also I remember that Angie did the looks that came on a pamphlet with one of these palettes!

I recently decluttered my wardrobe and it's amazing how much you hold on to for strange emotional reasons or "fear" of being caught without. As soon as I asked myself "when did you last wear this?"/"will you really notice it's gone?" I held onto skirts longer than the company that made them survived!😄 It does make you think about all the problems with such "competitive consumerism" and what ends up in landfill. I hope someone got use out of my old stuff!
So angie me and you seem to be the only people who struggle with beauty bay shimmers creasing lol. Heres how i avoid it and you should try it. Start with sigma primer, use all your mattes as normal. Then make sure you set the area you want to put the shimmers, with either just a bone shadow or similar colour to the shimmer, but make sure its SET. Then use a tiny bit of the nyx glitter glue on the area and then go in with the shimmer. A couple still do crease but i found this helps stop most of them creasing. Yes its extra work but worth it cause theyre so stunning.
I've been loving these declutters Angi! (even though I've had to watch most of them a bit later than I usually watch your videos - this month is so busy!) I was definitely shocked at some of your declutter decisions here 😱 and I have been loving Riccardo's editing notes haha 😂
I’m truly impressed by this declutter, as I remember the first time of seeing you use many of these when they were new releases (particularly a lot of the early Juvia’s Place palettes like Deuce & Afrique). I can’t imagine the struggle in deciding, but I guess it’s all a matter of realizing time keeps moving forward!⏳🤔

It almost feels like a different time from then. So many newer brands and the amount of releases has gone up exponentially. I miss it being a bit more chill like that. Idk how y'all keep up with it. By far my favourite YT video I've seen this year!! I love seeing full collections like this, seeing a few brands or palettes I havent seen/dont own, and seeing what someone else would keep or get rid of! As someone who is a hoarder with deep sentimentality, it's hard for me to part with ANY of mine!

I really liked this declutter. I feel a lot like you, I have a lot of makeup and I love it and keep getting more but eventually I declutter and pass on whatever is still usable and new-ish. That really makes me even more happy then buying it for myself, to be honest.

My parents are in the process of moving. Currently, they are in my brother's very full house while they try to close a deal on a home in the same city. I helped my mom declutter (mostly clothes and kitchen stuff) back in November for a week as my vacation. She donated most of her warm clothes because they left Portland Oregon for one of the hottest parts of the Arizona desert. I've been in a bit of a mood since I've gotten back to do some decluttering around my place. Also getting my artwork hung, and my makeup / jewelry storage reorganized in my bathroom and bedroom. It's a process for sure. Good luck on getting sorted though everything!

The ND Bronze palette has such a beautiful formula and there is not a single dud shade in the palette. My only critique for the palette is that there are very limited amount of different looks you can do with it, bc the shadows have a similar tone and colours. For me the Bronze palette is a favorite summer time palette.

Ricardo's editors notes always make me laugh! It's so interesting to me to see what people whose channels I love end up keeping and decluttering and why. Like some that you're decluttering are ones I only got this year and still love, but I completely get why they're not right for you to keep and love that you get that peaceful feeling of having decluttered!!!
I love these collection and declutter videos! Since I am getting back into makeup and discovered that I am an eyeshadow hoarder, I love seeing new brands I may want. I am sick that I missed out on the original Oden’s Eye Legendary Diversa, as well as the Club Nebula palette. I wasn’t into makeup and I missed them. However, I did purchase your fabulous palette along with a collection from them! Can’t wait to get it. I am enjoying your channel!
