I am so impressed by your setup. I would never know that those cabinets store all your products, they’re so sleek and large. Much nicer than the standard white drawers they market for makeup storage. And I don’t think your collection is excessive. You get sent a lot and you pick up a lot because this is your job so I think it’s a good variety.

Shoutout to Ricardo for filming!💙 I love the way you organized your collection. I have slowly but surely been trying to display/store my collection this past year. I'm the type of person that if I can't see the products, it's not getting used. I have started doing what Lauren Mae Beauty does and shopping my stash, and then storing that chosen makeup separately from everything else.
I love Lauren Mae! She’s an inspiration for me to love and enjoy what I have, and not feel obligated to declutter bc I may change my style and wish I had some things back!
That’s the exact reason why I bought clear containers for all of my makeup! I used to store everything in a black train case & whatever happened to be on the bottom never got used. Now I can see everything before I even open a drawer, and easily see exactly what my options are in every category when I do open a drawer.
Ricardo,s comment about not remembering a purchase was so funny. It was nice to see you working together in this video. This video also reminded me about the downside of moving a long way from home, the struggles of building new friendship networks and being a long way from home, as well as the struggles of giving up your career for your partner. I’m sure this move to the states has been tough emotionally, it takes time to build new friendships in a new home and it can be harder when you are not able to go to work. I’m enjoying this video on a rainy day while a massive low pressure system tries to drown my little part of the world.
I've always been impressed by how well you manage to remember just about everything in your collection, the efficiency of your storage may have something to do with that! This setup looks great and is so organized, perfect for you to be able to do what you do on youtube!

I'm always down for a whole collection video where you show every product you have! And declutters. They're like my form of ASMR.
I 100% agree with Lethal's highlighter formula being a favorite. The Scatter highlighter is one of my most used highlighters. I couldn't believe a purple highlight could look smooth and natural but that one does. I will weep if they ever stop offering it. Like a full on ugly cry.
Whenever my husband mentions my makeup collection, this will be my new “go to” video 😊. He is sneaky and says it’s different because it’s what you do. I counter with true but mine’s not even 5% of that. Love your setup!!

I would like to see this kind of thing more as well. Especially if you have the palette. I try not to buy anything I can dupe out with two or less palettes. I really want the spooked palette but I think I basically have it with my Clionadh x Emily violet Marie and melt amor y mariposas. Those along with the glamlite mikayla collabs are really keeping me from buying all the new stuff.

"Do you remember?" - "No." - "We took so long! We swatched so many lipsticks!" I think we may have found the reason why he didn't remember 😂 He probably zoned out half way through. This is why I do my makeup shopping sans finacé. And also, that means he doesn't know how much makeup I have 😇
That was soooo funny! Him not remembering is how most people feel when going to sephora with me!
He is a good husband. For many that has divorce/breakup written all over it 🤣🤣🤣
I usually prefer shopping on my own. That allows me to avoid eyerolling, guilt trips and loud fights 🤦♀️🤣🤣🤣
I absolutely love your big storage cabinet!!! It's such a great way to hide the clutter and also protect your collection from dust and damage. I'm definitely going to keep an eye out for something in the same vein but smaller and redo my organization
I love your setup, & I appreciate your hubby & you taking the time from your schedules to film it. The Ikea piece housing your collection; with the various containers & the items displayed outside on top, shows great organization. I also love that it conceals your collectionwhen the wooden doors are closed for privacy. Those doors are beautiful. Love the photos & other decor you added to your walls & space overall since it adds to the whole vibe. I like that you respect your space & it's functional versus just displaying it to impress others.

I like your setup. The bins can be easier to use than the Alex drawers, especially when you have a big collection like CZcams creators do.

Lol my partner would sooo forget what we did in the moment, even though he was there at the time, and watched me do things and him being involved, and then when I say “remember that time” and his reply is always “nope, I wasn’t there” or “nope don’t remember idk” 😅😅 🤦🏻♀️ beautiful collection by the way! This was so much fun to watch. I cannot believe how perfectly those baskets from Target fit in the cabinet. It's like they were made for it! What a great set up! The cabinet is absolutely beautiful.

You’re so beautifully organized!😍 I love how clean your palettes are. They look brand new. I swear mine get messy all by themselves in storage. I noticed you don’t keep the plastic protector sheets in your palettes. Maybe that’s what I’m doing wrong. This was fun!

I don't know why I can't stop doing this, but I've never used any nomad cosmetics, so I saw you talk about it. I ordered it... It was all I could do to keep it at three large palettes. I hope I like them a lot! 😂 I do not need to spend the cash.

I love that you shared this! I desperately need to organize my collection because it's kind of everywhere.....but I'm trying lol I would love to hear you do a video about your favorite brushes... that makes such a difference and there are so many brands with brushes. I love some of my small Colourpop eye brushes, I have a double ended it Cosmetics brush that I love and some randoms from ipsy bags that I've loved too. I want to get more from Sigma because I have the Cinderella set but I don't feel they are a good representation for that brand.

Love the storage you have for your collection. It's way better than the Alex drawers, that I personnally despised. I feel it is so key to have access to your entire collection in order to truly enjoy it. I was looking to buy similar storage for y boyfriend's clothes.... and maybe for my makeup in the future. The doors you chose are so pretty! Call me basic, but I love a chevron! 🤷🏻♀

Great storage. It looks like you could fit an extra shelf in some of the cabinets (not to fit more in) to divide what you have further so they baskets don’t get too overfull.
I’m looking at new cabinets now....just not sure what I want...something a little elegant and timeless....cubes and draw storage have had their day

I have such a huge collection also and I'm over filled a large 5 drawer storage cabinet and then another like 8 drawer storage dresser from impressions vanity. I need to buy one more of the 8 drawer impressions vanity units because they are beautiful and sturdy and put all my stuff and get rid of the old 5 drawer cheap storage I have some stuff in. And also declutter more lol

I really love this video and I really enjoyed seeing all of your makeup collection I just decided a couple days ago that I'm thinking of starting my CZcams channel to do the makeup stuff and you know decluttering unboxing and stuff I just feel like my collection isn't as big as yours and I just was wondering if you had any advice for first time people that that want to do this for a living you know on CZcams of makeup videos cuz I get told I'm supposed to have a certain amount of makeup to start my own CZcams channel and then I have other people telling me that I don't have to have really much of anything and I would really love your input and whatever advice that you or others on here might have it might help me to feel a little better and less nervous about doing this as well

I love Zendo and Love by ND. I am confused about the availability of the Metropolis. It recently popped up on the ND website. If she brought it back it would sell out again. I now have soft glam and the new dream palette. The only one I would like is the Metro. I have a cheap and nasty dupe of it! 😂

I can't believe it, but I actually have more makeup than you! And, I went through and decluttered a whole large storage tote earlier this year.
