I always liked one of General Stonewall's best saying: "Never take Counsel from your Fears." My brother Alan, a fellow Veteran, wrote me that in a letter during Desert Shield to buck me up and remind me our Great Uncle Adair lived through the not so Great War, despite poison gas. It's been 33 years since Desert Storm and I survived that and a couple other combat tours since. Always telling my Comrades this saying.😉👍🇺🇸
When I was out in Lexington and visited the Stonewall Jackson house I bought a lemon stress ball. It has his signature stamped on it. I have it displayed on my civil war bookshelf.

As we commemorated the moment, we heard fife music, creating a memorable experience my brother often mentions with gratitude.
