I have a 20 footer that I got 2 years ago to store tools and materials while I was building my pole barn. Now I'm done with the barn and starting the house, but I was able to move the full container about 300' with my 1971 ford 4500 backhoe. I thought that was an accomplishment until I watched this video haha.

I had to turn my 40' container 90 degrees in about a 80' radius on soft ground. I used several telephone poles about 12' long to roll it on like the Egyptians moved stone blocks. I just put the poles under the container arranged in the approximate radius of the turn and pushed the container with my tractor bucket. As it rolled I'd move the one that rolled out from behind it to back in front of it again. I used two 8 ton bottle jacks and cribbing to raise it up to put the poles under it.

Thanks, His trailer was not broken, that truck/trailer setup is great for delivering containers. I have had many delivered by huge overnight trucks that could not fit anywhere.

@@AndrewCamarata I finally bought a 40 foot high cube container a few days ago. I am starting to level the ground with a shovel using a laser level as a guide. I am going to put down driveway stabilization fabric, then 21 tons of #2 crushed stone for good drainage. I hope that will be enough to cover a 10 foot by 45 foot area at least 3 inches deep. I will be transporting the container approximately one mile with a one ton dually with a gooseneck trailer with a 29 foot bed. I considered renting an excavator or skidsteer to help pull it off the trailer, but I think we are just going to strap it to a tree and drive forward. I will also have an ATV with a winch to help guide it as it is coming off the trailer. I would have liked to hire you to help with the project, but my house is 2 hours away from your castle. Thanks again for letting me stop by the castle last December to meet you and Cody. Stay safe out there and keep the videos coming.
Had a container guy come out to our property and he said the drive way was too steep to get the truck up there so I am SOL on a container without some heavy equipment. What is the lift capacity of your loader?
I just had one delivered on my property, pretty steep and not enough clearance to get around the last couple turns without getting hung up and crashing through some good sized boulders. Didn't tell him though lmfao once I had him out there with trailer on the back he had no choice and knew he would figure it out. Barely able to drop and make it out but hey, worked.

IDK, it doesn't really do anything good. If I am digging, an excavator is the way to go. There are some jobs the backhoe is good at. There are some other videos on here of it working.
