- Follow along as we take a tour of Saint Michan's church  in Dublin, Ireland. The tour guide had some very fascinating stories about three occupants of the crypts so I urge everyone to take the tour, but it is not the easiest steps to navigate so if you have any physical limitations, just watch the video to see us going in and out to judge whether you would be able to handle it.
check the website www.cathedralgroupdublin.ie for tour dates and times and make sure to bring cash just in case they cannot take a card .

This place is really interesting. I live near Dublin but I have yet to do a video on the crypt. Those crusader mummies are amazing to see. I hope you enjoyed your visit

they were destroyed by some crazy person who just wanted to start a fire

I'm very saddened to read about that today. We've had these mummified bodies for hundreds of years and only recently have people had the idea to mess with them. Very sad as this was an important part of our shared history

@@essenceofthekeys2673 yes there is a arrest....A part-time security guard has been accused of criminal damage after a fire destroyed "priceless" and "irreplaceable" ancient mummies in the crypt at St Michan's Church in Dublin.
Christian Topiter, 38, was held in prison custody on remand pending approval of a person to stand his bail and needs €4,000 lodged in court before he can be released.
Oh my gosh, that's horrible!
Hopefully no one will pay his bail
