When you pulled the red levers you are supposed to push the small plastic button above the lever. Also you should be assisting the harness up/out while using the levers. They aren't designed for constant removal so just keep that in mind. Good video!

You should’ve looked at calibrated performance out of Rockford Illinois I have their tunes on my 18 3500 with emissions 500 hsp to rear wheels no trace once put back to stock mode they are able to bypass ecm security so no watermark left behind I have had it in for service and they didn’t say a thing
i am guessing the reason you "feel" the truck being more powerful is because there is more hp&tq in the lower rpm's. can't wait to get my edge pulsar for my 2019 ram 1500 classic.
What "Issues" did u experience with the "Pulsar" that caused u to Switch to the Diablosport T2 Power Tuner.?
You should work for Pulsar, because of this video I had to purchase one for my 2020 Limited. It works like they said, Performance for me Econo for the wife. Yep, purchased a cable for later upgrades...
That’s quite the impressive upgrade Steve and Hedy. Easier install than I thought it was gonna be. You guys should change out the grill for a nice black metal mesh one with led spots built in and do an upgrade. In my ol 13 duramax I always had my bullydog in performance. I’ll be doing efi live with a single 60 hp tune and a stock looking 3 gauge pod for trans, egts, and fuel pressure. I’ll do other mods to but for chip whose that’s what I’ll do 😎👍

Hello Steve, have you checked out the Alfaobd craze yet for 4th gen Ram's? You can change your internal BCM settings from halogen lights to make them LED or HID respectively. Once it's done, no need for resistors anymore. I changed over 16 perameters in my truck, also made the window roll down from my key fob... 😝👍

Sweet truck my wife and I are planning to trade our 2005 Ford F150 for a 2021 Ram Rebel. One big thing I going to do is change the stock oil to Amsoil .thant is the number one thing.

I'm curious as to why anyone would choose to turn MDS off with any of these tunes? It only ever engages when there are no fluctuations in the throttle. So, if it's just a matter of better throttle response, I wonder if there's a better way.

MDS has the chance to mess up your engine stopping and starting cylinders some stick causing engine problems mds off your engine will last longer and less issues

256,000 kilometers on the 5.7L HEMI in my 300C; and aside from a few minor paint chips from stones (easy to touch up) and signs that the front seats have been well used, you could rely on it like it was new. The key to maintaining an engine is to use good quality oils and spark plugs; and replace any worn belts before they become a problem.

I like the Ram Beast / Ram Belle theme. Now you need to put some Yellow accents on Belle to match the Disney dress. Just small tasteful ones mind.
I got answers from the dealership today that Pulsar does impact your warranty. They said that even if you were to remove the Pulsar prior to bringing it in for work that I will leave a signature on the factory PCM and they will know that it was tuned giving them the option to refuse warranty service if they choose.
I guess that’s the risk you take..
I put one in my 2019 Laramie with the 12 inch display and lost Sirius XP, back up camera, U Connect, Air conditioning and a lot more functionality. I removed the Pulsar and the functions did not come back. I had to go to the dealer to get the Computer re-flashed.
I had exact same problem with my Laramie, except after messing around to try to get it back to working with the Pulsar removed it started working again. Not sure what I did to get it back. I also broke one of the connector hoods trying to close it, so the advice in this video is great to keep some pressure on the hood as you close it back is great tip. Did you lose your warranty?
Has noting to do with pulsar. You loose those functions when you disconnect the battery. After a night of the truck being off. All
Functions will restore themself
If this can save you money on fuel it's worth buying it. Babe makes all the money so I'll hit her up but when she drives the Rebel to work on fuel economy will be a big help. Shell love the performance mode. Thank's!

Hey man, I put one on my 2019 rebel after watching your video and doing some research. It was amazing for a few months but lately, anytime I take it out of stock it’s been causing 9 different OBD 2 codes. Have you had the same? They’re firing/timing/o2/auto parking brake codes.

U would think eco would turn down accelerating as that is a big reason for the fuel burn

Why not plug in the Pulsar first, take out a short bolt and replace it with the long bolt, one at a time? You might have to pull the Pulsar out a bit to get the short bolts out?

Purchased one of these awhile back What was the issue you had with yours? I have a new battery in my truck Had alternator tested. My low voltage light comes on at random times. Local auto store said it was my starter and alternator bad at same time. Would the Pulsar cause this issue with the low voltage ? My cruise control doesn't perform well when the low voltage light started appearing as well. Thanks

No mds makes it drink tons of gas. I will stick with my sprint booster.
I put one on my 2016 ram 1500 and it was slower even in the performance mode.

Just as information I had one of these along with a couple other people and it threw a bunch of codes and all of sudden the truck floored it self and you had to literally stand on the brakes until you can cut it off.Called edge and they refused to buy it back all they wanted to do is test it and return it to me but I didn’t want ANYTHING to do with it after that point.The codes it throws are for throttle position so basically the truck has now clue where the throttle is because of the pulsar. I know a bunch of people with no problems but just wanted to warn you to be careful.

I read once you turn on cruise the buttons work as normal. You have to turn cruise off to change tunes
i guess you would have to take it out before you bring it to the dealer? Not sure if it would void engine warranty, or will it still show up on the pcm when they plug it in?

I have a 2014 Ram 2500 6.4 hemi, I'm not finding this Pulsar for my truck.
2014 to 2018 6.4 2500 / 3500 they make one just bought it for my 3500 6.4 also look at s&b intake for it

I would just remove it before taking it in for service, although they still may be able to tell that it was installed.

Is it sealed? It seems that water could get into the area where plastic meets plastic, between the computers.
The plugs seem to be of the exact same quality as the OEM plugs.
It’s probably just a throttle sensitivity booster.

What is bad about a throttle sensitivity booster? Most modern drive-by-wire vehicles need something like this. If more manufacturers would offer user-selectable drive modes, things like the Pulsar and Pedal Commander wouldn't be needed.
