I like how this game is all about Wario! However, it’s just Bomberman but with Wario! At least it’s pretty good by today’s standards!

I think the “in game story” was Wario got to Bomberman’s world, and wanted the riches it had. Bomberman and his siblings saw Wario’s greed, and knew to save their land from being plundered, they had to stop Wario (and his “deadly doubles” aka the “multiple enemies you faced if you played as Bomberman”).

Japan had a different version where it was just Bomberman. Wario blast was for the international PAL and US release
