In this video from Glencoe Photography, Karl Griffin shows you his top 5 waterfall locations in Glencoe. With drone footage, tips, and thoughts of Karl.
Karl i was in magical Glencoe last Friday i drove down the Glen Etive road and I found 1 of your locations below The Buachaille ⛰ I never took my wellies big mistake 😂😂😂 very busy infact most photographers i have seen capturing this magical mountain i looked well out of place with my shorts on immaculate blue trainers and snapping with my iPhone 📱 😂😂 Hiked the Buachaille afterwards fantastic day out ⛰👍
I absolutely love Glencoe. It's such a beautiful place to photograph. Thank you for posting these videos. I'm up there with my husband this Summer so I'm hoping to come home with a camera full of amazing shots of this place.
Hi Karl, have you ever thought to offer the what3words locations to these waterfalls, as a means to enable others to pin point them if they wish to go there? Fantastic video and I am a new subscriber🙂
Finally managed to finish watching at home. Lost the phone signal last. Nice to meet you and your wife and not forgetting your dog. I got to the viewpoint across from the cottage and bumped I to another CZcamsr, Cliff Hands. We got well and truly soaked but it was good fun. Hopefully might have a couple of nice shots.
That’s great David. Was nice to meet you even if I was a little busy. I always watch Cliff but never met him even though he is in Glencoe all the time. Cheers. K
Longing to tick all of these off my bucket list 4 years of visiting the area & i've have missed every single one of these amazing sites while resting up at my campsite 😅
Hey Ian. It was great to meet you at the Clachaig falls. It was a pitty it chucked it down so I hope you got a decent shot. Thanks for the kind words of vlog. Much appreciated. Karl
hi Karl watch your vlogs on youtube all the time. and this September I'm stopping in Oban as a Base and I'm gonna be doing a bit of Photography and sorted my itinerary for glencoe and I must say that you are my inspiration to get out there more and especially glencoe. I've picked a number of waterfalls and loads of Landscape. any tips appreciate, so keep these fantastic vlogs going so Inspirational cheers Joe.
Great video as always Karl. I am up in Scotland from Grimsby in October. I would love to shoot Clachaig falls but from the other side from where you were. Are there any directions and info on where to park you could give me please. Unfortunately I can’t walk too far as I have the dreaded arthritis in my knees. Any help or advice gratefully received. David.
Hi David. Yes there is a circular walk which gets you the other side. You can park at Clachaig, or An Torr or even Elliot’s cottage. It’s a flat walk but bit uneven. Hope weather is good for you. Thanks for watching.
Karl, thank you for this video and your channel. We liked and subscribed. My wife and I are retired photographers/videographers who travel extensively. We've planned a two month trip to Scotland, England and Wales later this year. Your videos are inspirational, and helping us with our own YT content. Please keep up the good work! Any suggestions for a few stops in Scotland to photograph nature--particularly less-travelled areas?
Thanks for those lovely comments. It’s much appreciated. Stops for Scotland for nature. Mull is amazing for otters and puffins. Orkney for its seabirds. Skye and the small isles from Mallaig are great for sealife Dolphins, orcas, whales. Hope that helps. Karl
Wow, I immediately spotted the inverted V of the mountain and the V of the rock formation there in the center. A bit of Divine Feminine/Masculine there. Now I want to photograph it. 🤗 EDIT: I stopped the video to write ths before you said it I swear! 🤣
Hi Stuart. Thanks for those kind words. I do 1to1 tours of Glencoe but only work with other providers for workshops, from overseas companies I am afraid. Check out my website for 1to1 bespoke tours. Happy snapping. Karl
i need at least,3--acres Hay farm,,border lines, apple trees, pears, peaches,if,sandy ,good for Grapevines,,muddy/Dirt,,vegetables/sweet potato,,well i chck for soil expert,,for what kind of vegetation compatible for soil,nearby,potassium/ash/mineral content,
