Printed 11 balls in total now. 2 full sized. Successfully with Flashforge FPLA and Ataraxia FLPA. We have also printed and tested it in PLA+, PETG, TPU, PC, and ABS. With a Surprise result in PLA+.
Which brand of PLA+ did you like? Thanks!
@tada3dprinting We have been having a lot of great success with a budget brand in Kingroon PLA+. BUT Polymakers Polymax PLA is another great PLA+. Little bit more pricey but great quality prints.
Nicely done! I will get my Bambu X1C in June, super excited already!
You'll love it!
Really great video, just subbed
Thanks so much!
That looks very cool!
Thank you!
Looks good will be interesting to see how the full size one comes out
I'll work on this. Thanks!
Awesome video. Since you have multiple filaments why don't you use one that is a PETG filament as support and then select the "support raft/interface" so it's easier to separate the support after the print?
I have not had great results with support filament etc. But I am still trying this out. Thanks!
You should print the (overture super pla+) it perfect for this and has an amazing bounce.
Yes that's what I used. Thanks!
@@tada3dprinting oh perfect I'm sorry I missed that lol
Did you Sell your prusa xl ?
Nope just busy printing miniatures for Etsy. Thanks!
I want to see someone print an airless bouncy ball, the one small children ride on, on an Elegoo OrangeStorm.
If anyone could keep a Giga printing with a failure would be nice to see.
Shouldve used breakaway supoort material im always using it sure it takes longer but its worth it
Do you use the support filament or the tree support? Thanks!
@tada3dprinting the support filament I have optimised it so much that when I pull the supports off it makes a little think sound no effort at all
Sometimes just scaling down doesn't always give the same result changing the parametric size. I know that sounds like the same thing.
