Keith, sorry to hear of your divorce. I am now in year 29 of my teaching career, one more to go, but I have been using some of your videos in my Civics class for several years. I like to use these as preview/background, or just another voice to present the material to my students. I have your quote, "Where attention goes energy flows" printed on a poster that hangs on the wall at the front of my classroom. Thank you for your time, energy and efforts to assist students everywhere in learning.

I taught 7-12 Social Studies in NY state for many years until I left to homeschool my children. I have always appreciated the quality of your videos and the thorough yet succinct coverage you provide. Crash Course is great for AP students, but for high school students who need to pass the Regents exam, your videos are ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Your sentiments in this video reflect the views of many teachers , myself included. My sons and I watched the entire certification coverage from the beginning and had also read Orwell’s 1984 that fall. Honestly, I would love for you to do a weekly current events summary every week which provides all the relevant historic background knowledge, and an objective presentation of important news stories. I ask my students to try to include a relevant current events story as their concluding sentence on dbq and thematic essays. Opinions masquerading as news and yellow journalism have come a long way since “Remember the Maine” and the Boston “massacre”. Young Americans need exposure to other viewpoints outside of their echo chambers, and they need the skills to distinguish arguments supported by facts versus those supported by opinions and emotional appeals. Thank you for this video and for your entire library of videos.

I think different kids need different kinds of videos, as a kid I would’ve never been able to get through a khan video and unless your parents talk at the dinner table like John Green, and his brother that stuff goes over a lot of kids heads. I’d like to think that I am the type of teacher that gets to reach those types of kids whose intelligence does not align with the pedagogy of the day. and thank you for all of the great work you have done, I can’t imagine how many students lives you’ve changed!

Are you back?! You were my history fix throughout most of my university years when I stopped regularly getting it. Making education free and accessible to anyone with the interest and ability to learn is seriously one of the coolest things a person can do. Educators made me who I am and I appreciate you all.... but the ones giving content to the wide world outside of their classes are a cut above.

Seeing you again after all these years actually feels a bit like when you run into your old teacher as an adult.
I recall watching this channel 10 years ago, as a non-American who knew absolutely nothing about politics (American or otherwise) and yet in the time since then I went on to become a political analyst, journalist and at one point a campaign strategist for a political party. (And then became disillusioned with politics and never wanted anything more to do with it ever again, but that's another story.)
But anyway it's surreal to think about the fact that your videos probably planted that seed in my life and gave me the grounding in knowledge that helped me to do what I'd go on to do later.
I'm grateful for all you did, I'm sorry that the last few years have been rough for you and I'm glad to see you back because there is so much value in what you do - for people all over the world.

I speak for both my students and myself, we are glad to see you back making videos and using CZcams to educate people. I teach a third-year political science course on American Politics here in Ontario, Canada. I always put your channel as suggested clips to watch every week, especially the Supreme Court cases. I always ask students who watch your videos to subscribe to your channel so that you get the support you deserve. I admire your ability to explain complex concepts and court cases in a succinct manner. Awesome you are back to making videos!
