What Maria Grazia and the House of Dior are doing is a huge contribution to the maintenance and development of world culture. I watched the movie from the beginning to the end, and the last frames made me tear up, because my heart overflowed with admiration for the beauty. Thank you to all the people who participated in the creation of the collection, to those who remained behind the scenes. You are making history. Low bow and thank you very much!
And for WOMEN
My favorite thing about Maria Grazia and indeed what I think will be her biggest legacy is the way she uses the vast resources of Dior to engage with the world and share the spotlight with these brilliant artisans. I LOVE her for rhis . These docs behind the scenes are what i live for..BELLISSIMA! Bravo!
Thank you Maria Grazia Chiuri for highlighting the creative work of Mexico in this way, particularly women as artists (I have always noticed that women’s textile creativity isn’t always seen as a respected art and or a high level of creativity), a beautiful way of showing the Mexican traditions of embroidery 🪡 🧵
It is not common for a fashion house to work directly with culture, this is something that crosses the limit of creativity as a whole, from a breath, from creativity, to the completion of the project, each fashion house has to realize of that. . Fashion is not internal, everything is external, from the history of the dress to its completion, and the tears of gratitude for everything. Dior, applause.

This was so inspiring and joyful to watch. God bless all these wonderful, talented and hard working people that are so passionate and dedicated to their craft, tradition and culture. I wish I could have witnessed this show in person and can not wait for the day I will visit Mexico myself. This show was simply perfection. Maria grazia, all Dior team, embroiderers, weavers, artisans, and artists involved in this collection, thank you for contributing in Mexico’s culture’s diffusion, I liked how it looked in the runway but the making of in this video made me wanna cry, (me emocioné muchísimo) as a Mexican designer I feel really proud of a global haute couture made a big thing of Mexican textiles, it’s not easy to approach indigenous communities for the creation of a an international project, so 👏👏👏👏👏👏

Thank you for your artistry. May it be preserved, loved and cherished for always. It is absurd that the skill is not valued enough to have the tradition written down for future generations. It's just like all female arts, once a man cooks he becomes a chef and a leader of a culture. But if a woman performs it is considered a hobby or craft. It's time we turn that word 'craft' into something of great nobility. We must do it. We cannot wait for others anymore to give us the glory and profits from our work . from your work. Thank you all once again. It has been many years since I have been moved so greatly. Perhaps a textile School in Mexico with an outreach program could be organized for other parts of the world?
