In regards to "Miltank": I don't know why that player named their shiny after the wrong Pokémon. But whenever I catch a shiny on a day when a different Pokémon is featured as shiny, then I name it after the wrong Pokémon. A shiny Shuppet caught on Eevee CD, would be called Eevee, etc. Then when you show off your number of shinies for the day, the search function has one extra Pokémon listed as a shiny Eevee.

Niantic must release a clear and detail statement about boosted shiny rate during incense day.
Eventually it seems not boosted shiny for incense day theme Pokemon.
This is to avoid players feel being scammed by Niantic.

Naw. This is the most basic type of nickname. I do it myself more often than not (until finding a better one). When you evolve a Pokémon that has had the name changed (ever) it will keep the unevolved name. So, this is just a Pokémon that was called Ivysaur 96 or whatever, and then they shortened it.

I called my 4* Dratini I caught on 2022 classic community day while I visited Japan "Watini". Due to the meaning of the word Wa in Japanese. I will always remember that trip and I hope to visit Japan again some day.

Because cendrece is like a footballer. In the football world messi is best player. He got the nickname la 'pulga' in 2012 for his performance.

I try to give my shiny mega Pokemon a name based on their appearance and typing. Here were some good ones I'm gonna copy. hehe
I'm surprised Daxi didn't know that Golden Snitch one. I feel like that is even a more common nickname than the Hulk or Bacon ones. I call my shiny Moltres Hot Cheeto, due to its resemblance to the snack. But yeah, I have a Hulk, a Bacon, and a Golden Snitch.
