When she sang that song “The Greatest Love of All” - it sounded like a Disney song! She really can tell a story out of a song! So beautiful 😍
I have high respect for the woman. She has incredibly amazing talent, poise and grace. And have class.

Lea's rendition of the "Greatest Love Of All" should be played on the radio specially on Christmas time for more people to hear. It's so beautiful. Lea is perfection in everything she does!

A truly beautiful,funny, intelligent, talented,classy woman. I have seen her perform and her voice live on stage is so pure, powerful, emotional and truly ,truly amazing!
When she said you never know the greastest love until you have a child, I cried. I need to be a better daughter. I really do. No matter how many times I obey my parents, it won't ever compare to how much they sacrifice and love me. I should be very ashamed that I actually get irritated sometimes when my mom asks me to do this and that. Just the fact that I have parents makes me so blessed that I have to stop acting like an unthankful brat. I'm so sorry to my mom...and thankful.

The cleanest, clearest voice in the whole world...no matter how she age her voice never fade...when she started singing "the greatest love of all"... i started to feel sleepy... i thank god because he gave Lea Salonga to the world... the only filipina singer and singer in the whole world who sang for two disney princess mulan from fa mulan and jasmine from aladdin... she is the filipina who open the door to the philippines to singing industry... her voice never fail me, us,... i wish she will live long...she deserves all the award she got and will get... she worked hard for it... lets think about an 17 year old playing for the first 'miss saigon'... if an ordinary 17 years old she/he is just starting life...just in college...starting a new chapter.. but her she accoplished being the first kim, winning tony and sir Olivier award...

For me she should be awarded as a national artist in music while she's still young so that she can enjoy it,,I don't know why it took so long for other artists to be given that prestigious award when it is pretty obvious how they gave enormous pride to our country,,how they can appreciate the award when someone is too old or weak to hold or receive the trophy?!?the worst case scenario?? How could an artist appreciates it when he's already buried 6 feet on the ground?? please let the artists themselves enjoy and cherish the distinction that they deserved,

It's not what you have had in life, it's what you do with what you have. Lea has passion in singing, humbled herself with the discipline of Repertory which made her deserving to go international. If you have passion, nothing/no one/no even your situation in life can stop you.
She dosent make me want to be proud to be Filipino. Ive never been ashamed to be Filipino. When I hear her sing and and see all the hard work she had to do to reach the status that she has now and know that many don't even know who she is but have sang to her songs and heard her but thought she was someone else....She inspires me to be all I can be. Not just proud to be Filipino. You always hear that. You alays hear about how Pacqiao makes ppl proud. How Lea makes ppl proud, Bruno Marz makes ppl proud. Proud of what? Proud that they used their talents to achieve the highest level they could in their field. Bat proud ka? Dahil magkalahi kayo? Magkatukayo? Kung ang paghanga mo, pagmamalaki mo gawin mong inspirasyon para matuntunan mo rin ang antas nila at maipagmamalaki rin nila na nasundan ng madla ang mga yapak nila patungong langit....Ayon ang tunay na pride. There's only a few singers who will still sound good without sound effect, And Lea definitely one of the few, a rare example of a good storyteller through a song, her eyes told stories better than most actors.

I'm on a journey of education I'm unsure of in college, but I have a passion for performing, and singing is my true driving force. Ugh how I just want to know if it's something I should pursue. Lea is just so inspirational, it makes me want to jump up and do something great.
Do it and if you fail at least you did it your way without regret.

First heard heard Greatest Love of All when George Benson sang it. I worked in London in the late 80’s and early 90’s and was lucky enough to see Lea in Miss Saigon, I had no idea about Lea back then. But I made sure to see her in Les Mis multiple times. What an amazing lady.
She's one of the best in this music industry, for sure.
Folks, I saw her in Miss Saigon's 1st run with full original cast in NYC. I will take that memory to my grave and thank God I was able to see her. I saw the show 7 times in all. BTW, orchestra seats were a mere 65 bucks back then.
The original cast doesn’t often go on tour with the show when it is still running on broadway. (Occasionally it happens if the show has closed on broadway - like some of the original broadway cast of the recent Into The Woods revival went on tour.)

I saw her in Miss Saigon the week it opened in London. It stays with me to this day. Utterly brilliant. I knew she was going to be a huge star then. I’m no softy but she had me in tears.

Lea could sing the phone book and I would pay repeatedly to hear her sing. I don't care what she is singing. As a gay man (and closeted Disney princess...trust me, if you knew me I am WAY more Shrek than princess) I am saddened to hear her "audition" story. It makes me look at and listen to the song Reflection so differently. I have listened to a gazillion you tube clips of this amazing singer and she can do anything. Nothing more to say...you are an amazing singer, you are an amazing actor, and I would feel privileged just to say I've met you. I haven't by the way, so I truly want to know if you ever make it to Kansas City. We're not as backward here as Hollywood makes it seem. lol. Please keep singing!
