Thank you for the explanation. I had to start a new store because I hired a manager too early and didn't know how to use them and I went bankrupt with -27k cash. I sold everything to see if I could just set up a smaller store and start from there but I only got up to 12k which is less than just starting out on a completely new save.

But if you are doing a small store with large amount of parking spot then you should do 150%(instant) because the goods will disapear so fast that your manager dont have enough time to buy goods so you ended up with less goods sold.

@@panel8936 I guess you should turn down the percentage on the manager. If it is set at 200% now, perhaps set it to 150%. However I dont think it is too much of a problem right? Up to you of course.

I've been using managers early by earning enough to sell game consoles and electronics and setting their purchase power at 50% until i garner around the 12k mark where I can comfortably do 100% purchases without downing my economy too much

Got confused with the "spending limit", but just found out that means more level means the manager can buy more expensive item.
Like my manager when he's level 1 he can only buy low price goods like snacks, beverages. And once he's level 2 he can buy more expensive items like furnitures.

I can do that, but I dont think it is necessary. Simply explained: expensive items sell the best, if they have good value. All cheap items sell bad, items around 100 sell mid, and expensive items with good value sell really good.
I fit all the boxes, over 20 parking spots, big delivery truck is maxed driver, but my manager keeps making me hover around 0. I got up when someone buys, then back down right away when she buys. I can barely buy a trashcan before she buys something else. I want to sell all items in the store, not just furniture.
Furniture is one of the products that sells double what you buy, so if if I put 200% I won't operate at loss (ex. customer buys product for 400, manager orders 2 for 360, 180 each). However the same can't be said for other products that sell less than double. I thought I just need to wait till everything in the store is full and it'll return to normal, have to break-even or something, but its not working. I can't get back up!!
In theory every item should break even as long as your expenses arent too high. If you have 20 workers, it might be 10k/hr paying those guys. So items like food doesnt come out too good. Furniture however earns tons, in fact a large store with 20 parking lots where 10 are EV, you can expect 300k/hr net. So if you still struggle earning, do you play on a private server?
My manager only buy one "item family" though I sell different ones I don't know if its a bug or what and sometimes he dont buy anything

It fills empty shelves that are assigned items. Simple and easy. If you buy shelves, but dont assign them, it wont buy stuff.

The managers job is to buy inventory for the wharehouse, and the delivery driver (or you) delivers it. You need to hire restockers who will stock the shelves instead of managers

I guess it might be crowdedness? In that case it is fine, cuz you cant build any larger store, then the server will start laging. If it is something else, then you should try to fix it. Oh and btw, 4,8 isnt bad either, so dont worry 😄

Do you use delivery drivers? Perhaps they are the issue here. Or even the restockers. If none of those are, then you will need a 3rd manager, but that is usually not the case.

i got a question about the finance reps, i just started selling military trucks and got one on display and one in storage, i also have 130k but they wont give out loans to literally anyone for some reason, am i just incredibly unlucky or am i somehow doing something wrong?

1. A bad server might be the main cause for low earnings, or a manager that still stocks ig. The only last way could be robberies. But generally just play on a private server, and you will be good. 2. Set the finance rep on "any", that works well enough. For 6-8 parking lots I suggest 2 finance reps, maybe 3. At last, no my videos actually are doing far greater than ever before, but I gotta admit, this was the worst lifestream I have ever had when it came to viewers.

Its neither good or bad, but its really not worth it. The efficiency for money is awful. You should rather get the electric, semi, or helicopter 😄

Yesterday, I had 100k dollars and after i set my manager from 100% to 200% i went in the negatives. What am I doing wrong?
200% stocking is way too high specially when you have expensive items like jwellery. If you have 100 jwellery, he is going buy 100 more to keep in storage, that's $85,000 extra. My advice, turn off instant delivery + 125% or less stocking + Big vehicle to deliver your goods. Do some delivery yourself too.
200% works fine, but you might go negative in the beginning. Eventually you Will earn and there is No problem. What you can do when selling jewelry is to use the corner shelves instead of the normal ones, then the manager wont cost you as much. The general reason to have 200% is when you sell items that only stock as 1 so you always have extras.

IMPORTANT QUESTION!!! When do mangers buy stuff? because when its set at 200% i am scared he might constantly buy stuff even tough they are filled, or do they buy 200% of the stock when the shelf of that item is empty?
At 200%, it keeps the shelves full, and buys 100% extra as backup at all items.

It really depends on whether or not you feel like you need more backup in the storage. At 200%, 1 manager Will buy 200% of what the store need, whilst 2 managers will buy in total 300%, so 3x what the store needs 😁
I know this is an unrelated topic, but when I enter build mode I can't move at all. I can move when I don't use build mode, but its just really annoying since I can't build properly. Does anyone know how to fix this?
You can close your shop before building and wait for the shop to be empty, possibly because too many npcs make build mode feel slow, because I also experienced this.

Try relogging to see. Make sure it isnt paused. If you just hired it and it does nothing, what kind of deliveries do you use? If it stil doesnt work, hire a new one.

My question I still don’t see an answer for is, How often does he buy stuff? Like how often does he buy supplies? Is it ONLY when there is Atleast one thing gone so he must order that one thing or is there a timer and eveytime it teaches that time he checks what’s needed and orders it?
When something is empty, the manager buys more. There is however a limit to how it can buy at the same time. Only 1 type of items at a time, so about 5 seconds delay.

If you have lots of items, then yes it might! Managers can buy to slow as well, so having more will make them buy more and faster.

You act like people are dumb, i am sure 95% (if not more) know how to use it if they read.
200% is way too much. I'm using delivery drivers and have the manager on 125%. Yes in real life stores order extra but the game doesn't quite work the way real life does. To maximize profits you want to find the sweet spot where the shelves are consistently STOCKED, not constantly full. You want there to always be something on the shelf but if you're buying more than you're selling then you're going to go into debt fast with a manager. My biggest tip is only have one shelf per item that costs you over $50 to buy. The demand goes down as it's price goes up. And don't be afraid to start low with your managers percentage. Unless you hired way too many people and weren't smart with the amount of shelves per item, starting low won't hurt you because you're going to sell all of the stuff you bought and make a profit. You just need to find what you need to be at to keep your shelves stocked without buying an excess of products. Another thing is people want to get the self checkouts because they won't have to pay a cashier but you want to get the customers in and out as fast as possible. Get the fastest register(the one with the shelf is the fastest and you can also put candy or chips there that customers that don't even have it on their list will get it when they go the checkout so it's the all around best way to go) and get cashiers(their speed upgrades over time so once they've leveled up they can scan like 5 items in the same time a customer at self checkout would can 1). You'd be surprised how much of a difference it makes.
When selling furniture, you MUST use 200%. Sometimes 5 customers enter the store wanting a couch at the same time. With 2 copies of each and 200% that covers 4, then hopefully the helicopter arrives with more within that time. You never go in dept, and you never lose money for having the percentage higher. All it does it making you money more consistently. You can just pause the manager and sell out those items if you feel like you are losing money, which in reality you never did. Also putting chips on registers, if I am not mistaken, customers count it as a category, so therefore other customers might come there wanting it and other snacks. Only do it if you want to sell snacks for gaining money trees. Registers are good, but for maximum earning efficiency, use 200%, no items in the register shelves, and have 2 shelf copies of each item. Every billboard player follows these rules, it is the general best way of doing it.
@Roem If you're that worried about the furniture just have it on a lower percentage and manually buy a lot of furniture periodically. If you put 200% just to have the furniture in stock you're going to be buying way too much of other things. I'm not just having furniture in my store. I want everything. Having just one type of item and that's it isn't fun at all.
