She told GWR, "I always wanted to have a world record with my name on it - as it is my lifelong dream to become a "Rapunzel" and an inspiration to other women all around the world. I want to share my story and represent my country with pride."

Many of the comments denote jealousy. Long hair is difficult to take care of, but it’s beautiful. Why should she donate her hair to anyone? That’s like asking you to donate your children because you have too many anyway. Why compare her to other women on CZcams with long hair? What’s the point? By doing that you are invalidating her.

Perhaps so. Don’t rain on her accomplishments. In reality, as women become older, their hair thins or they lose it. That’s why many older women have short hair. Also many women aren’t able to grow hair beyond the middle of their backs.
Has she ever thought of using a detangling brush instead of her hands to detangle her hair? I think it would make the challenge a little easier for her. I also don’t see why a company wouldn’t be willing to make a custom microfibre/microsuede towel for her hair as long as she’s willing to advertise it on her social media

Well, I guess we actually have a real life Rapunzel enormous. If you ever decided to have your haircut, would you donate some more like locks of love for them to use it as wigs for people with alopecia? Is it ever get unmanageable? Hair trimming is overhyped. I know females who have their hair cut or trimmed once in 2-3 years only. Such women have long and smooth hair. Even Indian grandmothers used to grow their hair for decades without visiting a salon or parlor. Keep your hair tied at least in a loose bun or loose braid every day. Stop listening to those men who say open-hair looks gorgeous. Models and actresses use expensive hair care treatments and that's why they keep their hair open during interviews and shooting time. Never blindly follow any celebrity routine. 😊
