I saw the Sarasota show tonight. It's the first time I've seen Engelbert Humperdinck live. The show was amazing! There may have been a couple of spots where he couldn't hear the monitors but they were very short, few and far between, and it did not distract at all from the fabulous performance. I only made that comment for some others who said and comments on some of his videos that he was not sounding his best. That's simply not true. I'm so glad I drove 8 hours to finally get to see him. My dad passed away 6 months ago. He was a a fantastic vocalist with amazing tone. He loved Engelbert as well. When he passed, I vowed to see the greats before they are gone. I'm so glad I did. He looks and sounds better than I've seen and heard him in years. I've watched many videos of his live performances, and this is the best by far in a very long time. And, for those wondering, the band did not wear jeans. They looked very professional and sharp in all black. Do it, Enge!! And thank you!! 🥰❤🙌
