- King Kong (Arranger: Jay Bocook & Arranger: Will Rapp)
King Kong Opener
Imposing and ominous, you can feel the foreboding tension as the giant beast approaches and then experience the power as he arrives on the scene. Massive percussion scoring and dense brass clusters help create a stunning effect.
Beautiful - from KING KONG
Delicate mallet colors and gorgeous harmonic textures combine with lyric solos by trumpet and horn in this masterful setting. The full ensemble builds to a rich and emotional peak, then tapers to a quiet ending.
King Kong Finale
The intensity is palpable through a series of key changes and dramatic effects as the music builds to a peak. This is followed by a unique percussion section feature utilizing ALL percussionists in the pit playing ethnic instruments (optional traditional parts are also included). The glorious and triumphant closing will leave the audience breathless!

6:32 Is by far the most powerful part of the show. The density of that chord is just.... BOOM
かれこれ10年前高校生の時マーチングでやりました。
トランペット🎺担当やったワイ、ハイトーン多すぎて死んだ思い出😅
2:35〜のペットソロ吹かせていただけたのはずっと忘れることがない最高の思い出。青春。
I have this in my watch later playlist. Coming back to this years later always brings back memories and my passion for music. I miss it
Ahh the memories from my Junior year in H.S. This was back in 2008-2009.
Victoria Zamora my favorite show. Sounds amazing.
I did this my Junior year 2 years ago, it was my last show with this particular HS band ;~; I had to move Senior year.
did this show last year!! loved it so much, now every time I hear a slow middle song that I like I say "that was beautiful... no wait that was (whatever the name is) " nobody laughs anymore about that

My school is doing this entire show for fall marching!! I'm super excited.
This is our 3rd movement of our show and I still cant get over how nice this trumpet solo is. I'm a junior and play the trumpet
Takes me back to Freshman year..Omgggg
same here. trombone player. I play a bach trombone now with the fancy F attachment that costs 2000 dollars i'm now in my senior year.
I am playing this as a freshman this year! As a sousaphone player
Takes me right back to freshman year of HS, 2006-2007. Would give anything to go back to that 💕 life was so much simpler back then 🎶
Me too. Wish I could back and play this on the field again.
No way! I was a freshman that year too. We actually played this for the senior graduation ceremony. 😭
played this as an eighth grader in 2009...still a great show
Played this for Sahuaro High School! Sick show
We're playing Beautiful for part of our show this upcoming school year!
We're playing this this year, and I'm a freshman. So I guess it's a good start 😂
same
Me too! What school do you go to? I live in CA
ARE U READY FOR LION'S PRIDE?!
Played for Centennial high school. I love this piece!
Aaa I wasn't an actual member of my high schools band when they did this, I was only a color guard assistant and would help pick up the flags. But this piece was beautiful. I'm going on my sophomore year and i don't think anything can top this piece. It just had so much energy and I loved it.
I'm playing this shit this year and I'm a Sophomore 😂 I'm a Mello and the parts are fun but slightly tricky for me
We are playing this this year!!! Yea!!
My band marched this show and got 4th in state. Go Rampart!
Rampart Drumline is best. Just sayin'.
Ohh how I miss this show!
Rather unexpectedly I've ended up with the trumpet solo for this. I think it would sound lovely on a flugelhorn, but one of the directors isn't entirely sold on the idea.
Wow. Very faithful to the movie music. Amazing!
I played the last song in my junior year of marching band. The last chord, I got carried away and played a 4th octave C. But it sounded so cool.
OP rocks this show every time :)
I played this my freshman year
same here now i'm in my senior year. i'm one of the OLD dudes with a fancy bach trombone.
Tenor Sax all the way.

My show too lol
Eu sei essa de có massa
I'm a sophomore and I did this year but I hated the second movement because most of it we had to march backwards but the music was easy
Played this my sophmore year in 2013 and we also marched backwards alot thru mvnt 2. but i'll never forget the day when we rehearsed inside due to rain. It was the ONLY time we played the piece great and beautiful that the whole band connected and we felt it. Our band director shredded tears on mvnt 2 he said "this is a true moment i will never forget . This is by far the greatest way a band has played for me."
Movement 2 was one my favorite show tunes, mostly because of how it sounded, but also how It reminded me of the sunrise over the ocean and someone dear to me, and how quite ironically was what the piece was referring to (If you see the movie) We made a giant hurricane in the middle of our felid
Amigo como faço para conseguir este arranjo?

does anyone have the flute or clarinet parts that could share them with me? please.
actually I do have the flute part that my sister played. Shes 20 something now though but I play trombone with the F attachment. Its a fancy Bach that cost 2000 dollars. I also play piano and guitar. I don't play the flute. tried it and just got light headed everytime. I can send it by email at one point just not sure how to scan it since its the little mini pieces.
This is my schools 3rd movement
