R.A.F. CREW of France pursue the World Championship title at Hip Hop International's World Hip Hop Dance Championships 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Gold Medalist!!

This is pure genius. The scene needed something fresh and new. These guys brought it.
Everyone else is starting to look like each other cause they get their inspiration from the TV or internet watching videos of other choreographers and crews.
These guys broke out of the shell that is preventing the dance to improve and evolve. They were at a whole new level of creativity and originality. Art.
I still rewatch it from time to time
Tired of seeing people complain "this isnt even hiphop." Uh, yes it is. Just because the music they're dancing to isn't hiphop doesnt change the whole dance. The fact that they can even do hiphop to this kind of music is INCREDIBLE. Do you even realize how hard it is to dance something like this especially when it's not hiphop, in this instance rock? This is an amazing dance, and they deserved to win. End of story.

I don't really know why everyone is hating on this crew, they brought a new style into the competition and personally I thought it was dope and refreshing.
I know its a Hip Hop championship, but it was a sick routine nonetheless
I can say it, again and again...dudes stop hating and tell questions why the win...This Crew is one of the best Urbandancecrews in the world..the moves and the ideas are so smooth and creative..and the judges are not people who have no experience in this things..so when they dont , if their were judges? Think about what you say...when you dont dance and only look this things stay be care..they top alle crews for 100 % . The most part of u dont know what is the important thing in dancing
I got to see the 2010 World Championships lastnite @ the Orleans..every division title went to all-female crews..they earned it...jbwkz influence on dance is now officially global..
Majority of the people complaining about this are PAS followers ..lol, grow up.

The reason R.A.F. CREW won is because they brought something people weren't expecting and pulled it off. They might not rely as heavily on tricks as the other acts but the attitude is still very much hip-hop and they have given the best DANCE performance by far - and the most original.
Yes, this is a DANCE competition, not a TRICK competition.
For those of you who would prefer to see somebody spinning on their head there are plenty of said videos on youtube.

too many haterz out there... no matter what you say, u still know deep down that these guys brought a more creative and unique routine than any other crew... oh and all you people that keep on saying that PAS should've won are just going a bit OTT and people mainly route for them just because their Phillipinos, comparing to this routine these guys deserved it end off
Its definitely not a 1st place performance in my opinion, but R.A.F. was good and this was a hip hop dance so all of you saying its not need to quit crying.

galeng, dope moves, synchronized, no one messed up, good choreo, original new moves, energetic, it took only one person each to see the concept of the scorpion, flexible, nice stunt, good audience impact, good in illusion, nicely excecuted though it is feminine, no dead time meaning all the time they dances thats surely tiring

I watched all the routines without the sound, and I can tell you this crew delivered more than the other ones.

Judging is based on techical and artistic elements throughout the routines with 4 judges each with the top and bottom result being ignored and putting it all to an average score.

everybody , you judge , you don t give your opinion. you can t to said it s mad or not nice , or cheat. it s many works and good job for RAF.
i hope when you ( everybody) speak , you know that is dance or not and you dance good. because it s so easy to speak with the net in your pc but in competition or battle it s different.

You´re jealous!! They´ve got a great technique and of course these guys did not do only Hip Hop on their life as you can notice...they are flexible, their movements are calculated with lots of precision; but at the same time they´re doing some break dance and gymnastic figures!! I think they are awesome!!!

when PAS did a show here in delano, my dance crew were talkin to dem and this came out of one of their mouths "idk if we can win, because how are we goin to top our performance from last year, so we basically have to beat ourselves"
and i think they did dat, and they beat this crew too..but judges are judges for a reason and they saw something in this crew that many dont. but anywayz good job to this crew for taking it

I'm from NZ and I've been trying to keep up to date with the championship for this year and for real I really thought that the All Starz would definitely be in the top 3, soooooo I was like hard out searching for this RAF crew on youtube......oh my gawd !! How did they win ??

This show was dope, creative and included different styles of hip hop. For those said that it s not hip hop, do your research,. They deserved first place and they brought something new. Some other crews are the same all same: commercial music, big unclean tutting, gun shots, and fake waacking. And dance is not a sport, it s an art. It's about inspiration and not competition.

All these people talking about this not being hip hop, Did you watch Joyce & The Boys? They only had one song, such as this group that was classified "hip hop" but nobody complained that J&tB got 3rd, because the music choice was more accepted than the choices presented in this performance. Stop saying it's not hip hop. When did you decide what is and isn't hip hop?
