Lol but to each his own maybe you live/lived in the type of neighborhood that calls eminem the goat and plays his music often but I almost never hear his music anymore and no one I know still listens to him. But I will admit in the past he had some fire versus.
You got it backwards Eminem was writing for black people (That’s why so many of them think he won) and Jay was explicitly writing for Bougie white people so all the trailer whites think Eminem won because they don’t speak Bougie. I can tell you as a Bougie white guy from my perspective, I agree Jay-Z has the better verse as a kid it transported me to a whole other world and made me want to learn more about Hip Hop. Eminem’s verses just sounded like adult conversation about how controversial Em was at the time, I’d heard that shit before.
Ems flow and rhyme scheme and word choice was better for any color ears it’s just who’s willing to admit it or not
@@mookiestewart3776when I was younger, I thought Ems verses were better because his angle on the song was different and I hadn't heard rap from that point of view, but I'm not so sure now.
