My Favorite Oat Waffle Recipe

4 cups rolled oats
1/4 cup chia seeds
2 cups non-dairy milk
3 cups water
Mix and let soak 2-3 hours or overnight. Transfer to blender and add:
1/2 cup raw sugar (or coconut sugar, maple syrup)
1 tsp pure vanilla extract
1 TBSP baking powder
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 cup oil (I use grapeseed)
Blend until smooth and cook batter in waffle iron on medium heat until golden, about 7-9 min.

can i use 100 percent water? Can i subs oil with mashed banana to make it oil free
To make it oil free just sub the OIL FOR MAPLE SYRUP @AIREENBETHANY I do it ALL THE TIME AND ITS GREAT CUZ SYRUP IS OILLY

@@aireenhoo yes! But only if you like what oatmeal taste like when cooked in water cuz if u don't u won't like them

@@aireenhoo to replace the OIL use MAPLE SYRUP 😊 I USE SYRUP FOR ANY RECIPE THAT CALLS FOR OIL LIKE HALF A CUP OF MELTED BUTTER I USE HALF A CUP OF MAPLE
