- Dragons Dogma 2 Has finally released and taken the internet by storm. By storm I of course mean it has destroyed all rational discourse over video games and DLC micro transactions. My goal today is simple! I must discover if Dragons Dogma 2 Is A Perfectly balanced game with no bugs, glitches and exploits. Or if perhaps the developers left in overpowered abilities, broken features and infinite gold!
What you have seen here today is part of a fantastic perfectly balanced series on youtube where I go from game to game and break them with wacky exploits to gain things like unlimited gold. If you enjoyed this then be sure to check out more. The style is similar to RT game and callmekevin in parts. A large influence on this series has come from Valefisk and The Killian Experience.

*1 Like = 1 Prayer To be Blessed By Todd Howard and his Dump Truck Booty*
Praise be tod Howard
It just works
🤣😂🤣
I'd sooner be blessed by Edward Scissor hands himself 😂😂
You dont tell me what to do !!!!! I pressed like blindly before you told me to !!!! 😁 have a tea , keep the prayer .... nothing can bless me Spiff ... i am portuguese 😂
9:46 imagine buying so many apples, that the merchant falls in love with you
I, too, would love the person single-handedly making me rich.
That hasn't happened to you?
My favourite part of watching a friend play this was when he romanced an NPC
And then the fucking apple merchant was picked as his "highest affinity" npc
So all i got to do is go to the grocery store and buy a bunch of apples and the cute check out girl will fall in love with me. Seems sus.
It worked for Rocky, so why not give it a try ?
Fun fact; when you take lethal damage you can eat a healing item in the split second before the death screen pops up, allowing you to simply stand back up without using a wakestone.
It’s nowhere near as easy as you’re making it sound. You need to spam it as soon as your health decreases. Not before the game over screen.
Edit: it’s literally not possible to heal before the game over screen, you need to heal before the damage has registered right at the instant your health decreases.
Yeah it's a little bit of a timing thing. When I first did it, i could get the heal, but sometimes it wouldn't work.
Be mindful that this doesn't work against lethal fall damage.
@@zzodysseuszz it is that easy, you can just pause the game and use an item from the menu.
I think it works until you touch ground (eg. fall on it), you can use heals from the menu.
I got to the part of you summoning your pawn and I said out loud “it better be Todd” and my wife looked at me so confused 1:43
My wife looked at them shook her head after I jump out of bed and yelled "YES, FINALLY TODD HAS MADE IT!"
You married your dog whaaat🤨🤨🤨
@@totallyalex2607 huh?
honestly, was expecting Reanu Keeves
Being a normal medieval merchant except you can teleport is a pretty nice exploit imo
each teleport cost you 10k gold tho.
@@jashinsamael acceptable business expenses. Reduces taxable income
not only can you teleport but you can acess an infinite amount of goods at any local inn or at a house you own
@@jashinsamael Time is money, so overall net gain tbh.
@@jashinsamael literally doesn't matter, best gear is in end game anyways. And don't forget you can cart back and forth between the places he mentioned in the video.
You get showered with gold and ferrystones in the game. When you're at the point of the game when you have 200k. You are going to want to buy every ferrystone you see.
My favorite pasttime is watching Spiff absolutely annihilate every game he touches
Not just game every single thing that has been virtual, was brutally exploited by spiff.
Normally I would agree but in the case of this game he is being really underwhelming. Pretty sure anyone who plays this game and has access the internet knows about the Thief OP combo and other OP tactics and not sure this is the best way to make money in this game. There are places where you can farm expensive minerals, rent pawns with 10k gold requests, different places buy different things for different amount of money, not just apples and grapes.
@@JLG35X Yes his strategies for this game were normie level.
He just takes all the info from discords and reddit/gamefaqs and then makes videos acting like he found it.
You can cross ref every one of his videos with information days and weeks old on forums or in the relevant discords lol.
This video is pointless as you can just go magick archer and use the master skill from it to one shot EVERY enemy in the game. So he didn't do his research well this time lol.
@@RestrictedTWO I must’ve missed the part when he claimed he *found* the exploits…
at this point all we're missing is an Isekai Spiffing Brit story where Spiff breaks every system of magic or technology or karma or whatever that world works on.
Spiff walking around with 6*10^23 mana, and health.
jezz
So basically almost every isekai story.
That Time I Got Isekaied Into A Perfectly Balanced World
@@Truck-kun653 they just need Todd Howard to voice his companion
“Infinite money glitch”
Literally just becomes a traveling merchant lol. That one worked pretty well irl too.
Great video!
If you dismis the pawns you'll get around 20 percent more xp, so not only they won't steal your kill you'll get an additional xp boost 😊
and die non stop
@@geert574 Not if you're good at the game later on ;)
The game is so easy you really don't need 3 pawns. Or to lvl very high tbh
Ahh ive heard of that fabolous weapon the Piggapult, heard it killed a dragon in one hit
the "infinite money exploit" doesnt really sound like an exploit, it just sounds like you're being a merchant.
Yeah it isnt an exploit, it is intentional game design. NPCs will even tell you different items sell for different amounts in different locations based on the needs of the people in the area.
Because it is an intended mechanic.
Batahli materials are also worth a ton in vernsworth.
You can just get into a cave, mine it all and sell it.
Money shouldn't be a big problem in the game anyways w
yeah this game has the effect of making peoples brains short out. everything is broken and an exploit.... i dont think many played the first game so they dont get how a lot of it works
He's British.. it's a exploit of an economy. 😂
Another OP Way to Farm experience:
Use Warfarer vocation
Equip a Magical Bow, the Medusa Bow and the Ricochet Skill from the Magic Archer
Go into a Cave, cast the Ricochet skill and switch direct to the Medusa bow.
The Ricochet will probably kill everything in the cave and you will get the XP bonus from the bow.
A good spot for example are the Digger's Rune south of Bakbattahl. A lot of Goblins and a Minotaur Boss.
Probably? Are you saying you've done it or that it makes sense to you?
@@the_panos OP means that usually it'll kill anything in the cave, if not just shoot again.
I've done it myself
But maybe you need more than one Ricochet shot to clear a cave. Especially when bosses are involved.
You also get a ring from the sphinx that increases xp gain.
I always shoot full loaded shot in in until no XP gain arises.
Then I go in and loot. You can tell by the dungeon and how it's build that up a certain point you have to shoot from where you are. Blast a few in, wait a second, venture forth for loot, rinse and repeat
They’ve got PVP physics! (PIG VS PIG PHYSICS)
Woah there sonny, you telling me this game's got *pig physics*???
Now, I dunno if I wanna play no game with pig physics, lemme tell you.
@@a_rat_named_mouse I told myself back in ‘97 that if they ever put *pig physics* in games thats the day I’d put down the controller and pick up the gun…
4:37 why is there the grinch in the potatoes? xD
Came here looking if someone commented that already xD i'm wondering the same thing
@@BlackAnno3397 Yup, same.
Nice spot!
The Todd Howard reveal almost single-handedly made my entire day
magic spearhands mirror shield is basically formless feint for all your party members at the same time
Except it’s infinitely worse in that it the best ability takes the whole stamina bar to use (the maister ability) and the shields only last a little bit meaning if you’re clinging onto something or in an animation and it wears off you get nuked
@Knetknight19 but it only takes a bit of stamina and covers the full party so it's actually better if your not stupid.
@@micklane7306 agree to disagree my friend :)
Yeah, it's broken. Combine it with paralyze from your bolts and you can just stay next to your sorcerer pawn and spam it while he is casting meteroites or flare that will one shot alost every boss.
Can confirm, the shield is broken as hell. It consumes such a low amount of stamina that it can effectively stay up forever, and it allows your pawns to kill everything without being interrupted. Its so strong I had to stop using it because it was making the game trivial.
Sneaky Susan vs. Reanu Keeves.
The Ultimate Battle of Ultimate Destiny.
Even better way of making money is to go to vernworth and the pawn allocation stone, do an advanced search for lvl1 pawns and then look for one that have a paw n quest for 1 arrow for 12 onyx do that until you have 99 and put them in storage, do the same but then give them to your pawn and repeat. You should have a 3 stacks of 99 onyx, each stone sells for 2800gold in vernworth.
😂
Just as intended 🙏
is it guarantee that the quest is 1 arrow for 12x onyx?
@@Fabiaxzno but it’s fairly common.
@@Fabiaxz I've been doing it for the last few days and only once or twice have I had an arrow quest that didn't have onyx. But they have been for ring's of endeavour and also for 12 jasper. If you see an arrow symbol above the pawns head speak to them and it should show what their quests are for.
Wait till he learns about all heals, duplication, and magic archer 1 shots. With infinite money it’d beat thief.
I especially like the part where he shoots the troll in the bollocks 5 times to kill it.
I have never clicked on a video so fast, two of my favorite things collide. One Spiffy Brit, and Wolves Roam In Packs, Arisen!
Try Warfarer (Mystic + Magik Archer + Sorcerer)
Mystic gives you melee, team invulnerability (skill 1), and downed boss crit attack, and a ranged stun/teleport/auto-crit.
Sorcerer gives you Float, Stamina Regen, and "the nuke skill" Augural Flare (Skill 2) that pairs with the other two classes here.
Magik Archer gives you all the ranged damage you could ever need with Sagittate Downpour (skill 3) or regular attack for the "I don't want them to die too fast."
You can now handle any situation.
There are other combos that also make you toddlike in entirely different ways. By design I expect.
May Todd Be With You.
Augural Flare + Skull Splitter, if you haven't already tried this on Warfarer, please my fellow brother in broken gaming. Everything just dies immediately and if it doesn't, perma stagger
The editing of this video brings me such joy and fulfillment. I love how towards the middle, spiff started to sound like a videogame character with his catch phrases.
You're onto something with the adjusted editing style but this may have been slightly too choppy in places
Thanks for the feedback it means a lot
@@thespiffingbrit I cant speak to what adjustments you may need to make, but I really enjoyed the editing in this episode! if you can find ways to improve thats only icing on the cake
It was a little choppy right before he took that seat to wait and pass time, I imagine it's the game's code breaking down. Either that, or the game isn't fully optimized. I mean, Spiff has to record and also play at the same time, that's...a lot of computer power, which I don't doubt he has, but there's just a limit to some games. Maybe it's lagging because of all the items? I haven't played the game yet, so I'm not sure.
First time I've seen a thief actually be a tank and a dps--well, outside of Elder Scrolls Online. That game I stopped enjoying, because you just keep leveling until like 1600 or so, which makes most dungeons broken AF, with even a pathetic thief.
I really liked the editing. That jazz montage was next level.
That new editing style is great. keeps my adhd brain focused on what's going on, less likely to get distracted like i usually do
Oh dont worry Brit this will never be patched, one of the most important part of both dragon's dogma 1 and 2 is becoming absolutely OP
Brain splitter go speeeeeen
Yep, especially considering that this is only ONE of many ways to become invincible, overpowered, and rich. The game has many paths to and flavours of greatness :)
I had some xp with Motion Capture and love DD2's seriously fluid, accurate animations and movement and fight choreography - it finally did the cinematic style of the narrative justice. Kudos to the devs. Ps. You almost saw me as Leon in these new Resident Evil games :)
Hey Spiff, if you throw a pig at your pawns they will catch it and THROW IT BACK! Endless entertainment, one archer pawn played catch back and forth with me whilst making witty remarks and then threw it back and shot it while I was holding it! Very cheeky indeed.
Spiff. that's not an infinite money exploit. That's literally just running an import/export business.
The thing with Formless Feint is that if you don't realize that Blades of Pyre is a mock-up Maister Skill and that you were being played for a fool by the villagers, you would never get Formless Feint.
Dragon's Dogma is very much a game you want to break. If any update/expansion to DD2 is made similarly to DD1's Dark Arisen, you'll want to be as broken as possible. Bitterblack Isle philosophy was very much "your bullshit vs their bullshit".
it is legit made almost like a Spiff Certified Exploit Sandbox and besides potential tweaks, I don't think we'll see major nerfs at all because Itsuno is a madman and would rather the player have their own fun.
..with formless feint and mirror shield not being nerfed in the next expansion i dont think even a bitterblack isle level of difficulty would be a challenge. but hey, even if they dont nerf it i dont think its fun to use it anyway.
The issue with the infinite money exploit is the amount of loading you have to do.
The main exploity part is the instant teleport, you wouldn't be able to get from Melve to BakBattahl before the fruit rotted so you teleport to make up the difference. You need Ferrystones to do this which cost 8,000-10,000 gold each time you buy one, and every merchant only sells one so you have to wait for the store to restock before you can buy it again.
SO, in order to do this you need enough ferrystones to begin with (2 is the bare minimum which is already 20k gold), two portcrystals which can take about 30 to an hour to get if you know where to go, and time.
So you buy the ferrystones and apples, wait in the chair the opposite side of the store for them to ripen (takes 4-5 sit downs and you have to wait a second for the game to load the time change each time) buy a new set of fresh apples which should have restocked by now, buy those, store the ripe apples, and repeat for about 1-2 hours. The stores don't have a lot of apples to sell at once. You do this to get 400 ripe apples and then teleport to BakBattahl. Luckily one of the inns lets you take items from your storage so the sell part of the process is significantly faster, BUT you still have to take as much of the fruit as you can carry, go to the shop, sell them, go back because there's a storage limit (this part may not be true I did not personally collect a 400 apples like Spiff did), and repeat that sprint back and force for another 5 minutes.
This is an exploit for sure but the time it really takes to get going you could've gotten 120k just questing and playing, so definitely a NG+ kind of thing and probably more fun (as a person who likes DD2, this is debatable) to just play the game normal.
I was waiting for this!!! Also going to Scotland in September so looking forward to having the best tea!
Spiff's vision of Todd might be a bit biased
Yeah todd is like a foot taller and jacked like the hulk..
Not even a minute in and I'm losing it. Most hilarious character creation I've seen 😂😂
So I see Spiff is learning from Americans that explosions are fun and good and is combining it with British exploits, it's a beautiful combination
As soon as i see you've uploaded something, i get a cup of tea ready. Your videos make my day, thank you 😊
It’s your vids that make me wanna play games outside of my normal set.
I was expecting something unique coming from you Spiff!, but this just looks like a normal DD2 run!
It was one of the rare videos where the title wasn't hyperbole XD
He just plays it with the intended game balance and no exploits. A great video though. Very entertaining.
Lol the commentary on this had me laughing hard. Awesome stuff dude, will definitely try your tips. Thanks!
that passage of time sequence was as enjoyable as a fine hot cup o tea on a cold English day. nicely done!
theres a ring that makes it so you cant catch fire: combined with warfarer stam reduction augment you can just make constant explosions at no danger to yourself, without the stam drain from formless, and combined with Mystic Spearknight if you want a skill to also make you and your pawns invincible if you need it instead of formless (makes the game way way too easy but some of the bosses in unmoored are strong af if you don't use the invincibility)
Forget breaking the game, all I care about is seeing more of that top-notching editing!
seriously, I imagine he has an editor. Give the editor a raise. That kept my attention perfectly, and the video didn't even seem to take up much time.
The most broken combo though is:
- Unlock Sorcerer, Magick Archer and Warfarer
- Play as Warfarer
- Learn Sorcerer's Augural Flare
- Learn Magick Archer's Sagittate Avalanche
- Cast Augural Flare
- Spam normal shots and Sagittate Avalanche
- Melt bosses in seconds
And if you want kill the Medusa very fast to get her Preserved Head and easy EXP, you also need Warfarer and Magick Archer:
- Learn Magick Archer's Soporific Bolt
- Use Soporific Bolt on the Medusa (it might take between 2 to 4 shots)
- Once she falls asleep, swap to any weapon that deals slash damage
- Attack her head, which will instantly decapitate her
Witness the majestic Pig as it arcs toward its target. A glorious, lethal blow!
*And a harbinger of things to come...*
I love to watch spiff destroy every single game he touches while getting ready to sleep. My favourite time of the day.
Great video, but it feels distractingly overedited in my opinion, i liked how the editing was back in the ck2 era of spiff, much more chill
Can't agree more, it constantly felt like something was off with this video and that's exactly it. It feels sort of fake this way.
@@localbrew we had some challenges piecing this one together into an overarching narrative. Apologies that it comes off slightly odd in the edit. Will do my best to improve
@@thespiffingbrit Editing was marvellous, Spiff. You do you, Sir.
I love that Strider was so OP it got split into two classes for the second game, and one of it's splintered halves manages to be arguably just as OP.
I really enjoyed this editing style. Don't know if it's someone new to the team or what but absolutely killed it!
And you weren't so bad yourself spiff 😅
Just climb on medusa's head and stab it as Theif..... head cuts off one bar into her health and she's dead. You're making it tougher than it needs to be.
I think you missed the part where he was around lvl 20 when he stole the bow and thus would have done almost no damage to her regardless of where he was hitting her.
@@PlusOne2Crit Thats the easiest time to get the head. You want to do as little damage as possible, head comes off easily, instant death. Look it up.
I’ll do you one better. Warfarer. Use MA sleep arrow (might need multiple shots). Then use one fully charged and timely released Indomitable Lash at her neck. It’s how I got my first preserved head
"She's been sneaking for the longest of times" -> Must be a Skyrim player
I mean, get the thief stone, sneak from Markarth to the other end of the map, and you'll get to level 70 sneak or so, especially with the fur boots you can usually find in Solitude. Make a round trip, and you'll be at like 90.
I think we all did that when finding out Stealth archery had a 15x multiplier.
Todd: "It just works"
This is the one game that absolutely does not need a video on how to break the game.
Great video as always, Spiff! :)
The Magic Archer Martyr's Arrow can 1 shot (nearly) any enemy or boss in the game, including the final boss. Only exception are the bosses that have to be beaten in stages. (Being as vague as possible to avoid spoilers here). You should definitely have a play around with that one and see what fun you can get up to! :D
Medusa used an archer with soporific arrow, put her to sleep and the your theif or fighter should behead her with one hit, getting the preserved medusa head.
This video needs more tea :(
The resemblance is uncanny to actual Todd Howard. Amazing video as always. Hope you have Let's Game It Out back soon.
I dare say this might be the most fun I've seen him have in one of these videos 👏😆
Gamers finding out what commerce is and calling it an exploit
Anyone else miss when spiff actually BROKE and GLITCHED games? This is admittedly kinda cool but honestly low tier. Its basically a showcase of game knowledge more than anything. The only thing in this video that could possibly be not intended gameplay is the blades of the pyre not hurting if you have formless feint active. The game outright tells you that you can get more money selling things in other regions and the "exp exploit" is basically just more efficient grinding techniques.
ye I hoped to see some cazy glitch but it was just regular levelling and regular damage
Blades of the pyre is supposed to be used alongside formless faint, theres a reason the thieves give you those 2 skills, one of them even says that blades of the pyre are missing something, that "something" is formless faint.
Yeah. And the gold "exploit" is just grinding the normal economy in a way it even tells you to
Blades of the pyre are an incomplete ability that are not meant to be used by themselves. In fact, the false arisen got his scar from misusing the ability. Misuse meaning not combining it with formless feint.
You did amazing videos on civ 6 and now you make a video on my fav game, the best of the best. Thank you sir spiffing brit (I bought Yorkshire tea I should have it soon can't wait to try it)
My wife watched one of his videos with me years ago and we decided to buy Yorkshire Gold cause why not. It has been her go-to black tea ever since (and she doesn't really watch these, she just really liked the tea). I hope you enjoy it too.
Formless Blades of the Pyre combo is basically my entire identity in this game
Spiff invents capitalism and calls it breaking the game lol
Just like real life!
Love the new editing style!
Mr. Spiffing Brit,
I am pleased to inform you that for the low low price of 1 skill (and some loss in stats) slot you can in fact combine your glorious Damage per second with your excellent exp gains by unlocking the warfarer class. It's master skill (unlocked upon class gain) allows you to swap between weapons and equip any armor set. The only drawback is you effectively only have 3 skill slots with every skill you know to choose from and that in order to use said skills you must have the corresponding class weapon equipped.
Have fun with this information. Thank you for this gem of a video.
Have a good day
Trace Oran
I’m pretty sure the fruit selling for more is an intended mechanic. If you take any fruit from one region to another one further away, it’ll sell for more.
So if you want to maximize profits, when you sell your apples and grapes in Bakbathal, buy some figs and quince and take it back to Melve to sell there.
Plus, you gotta factor in that every teleport effectively costs you 10,000g; so 20k round trip. That really eats into your profits, and because of that I don’t really foresee them patching this “exploit.”
But they’re absolutely going to nerf Formless Faint. That ability is absolutely broken in its current state. Really, it’s broken on a fundamental level.
My guess would be they’re either going to add a cooldown or duration limit, drastically increase the stamina drain when active, or make it so it only has a CHANCE of avoiding attacks, or possibly even all of the above. Either way, Formless Faint is screwed. 😅
I was just thinking that you should make a dragon’s dogma vid, and now you have it! 😂
Spiff, don't forget to use allcure magic archer build where you can charge up your deadly super ability that one shots based off of hp consumed (it's %) then pop a fullcure recover your hp loss gauge, then do it again, if you mess up just wakestone and repeat till everything in the game dies (this can 1 cast most bosses sub 700 magic attack stat going over this lets you 1 cast even the strongest things in the game besides invulnerability state ones) Also Allheals Elixirs can be forged and the forgeries turn into the normal ones as of current!
Exploit? Exploit? This is just being a merchant with magic crystals!
Truly the best roleplay experience
Spiff really just out here turning other games into Skyrim. First, puts God Howard into the game. Then makes a stealth archer. Livivng the dream.
hahaha, the new cuts are even better... It's great work and a lot of fun to watch...
You can double up on the money-making scheme, too. Battahl has figs and quince(quinces?) that sell for extra up in Vermund, so you can pick those up while in Bakbattahl, ripen them, then sell them while you're restocking your apple and grape stock while back in Vermund. No wasted trips!
2 more things to add to this build that I happened to do:
Pick up Voracity from Magic archer to restore stamina from kills, keeps you dodging and exploding longer
Teach a pawn or get one with Celestial Paean: Unlimited stamina. Spam explosions to your hearts content. Add this with haste and youre having a great time.
damn, i love that 8min+ editing, it has a wierd documenatry? National Geographic? something like that vibe, i can't quite put my finger on it, but it sure was entertaining format
OMG just wanted to see a video of yours after starting dragons dogma the other day. Praise the gods
dont forget the xp boost from the sphinx ring, and the master ability for the mage generates a field where you have basically infinite stamina.
shocked that this video didn't feature the magick archer op skill that can 1 shot everything in the game or the mystic spearhands permanent full party invincibility
Ahhh another Spiff video to watch whilst drinking the nectar of the gods the almighty Yorkshire teaaaa, always love when you call your character's some variety of Susan 😂
Just in time for a spot of tea
The editing making it look like a heist was amazing for some reason
I like your style mate. Very entertaining 👌
I loved the new editing!
Firstly, that Todd Howard looks magnificent! 👌
As a semi veteran of Dragon's Dogma, I can say that we most likely don't need to worry about nerfs - especially the Thief Maister skills, because honestly, they are not even the most broken stuff in the game 😅. The Dragon's Dogma series is a beautiful little gem that way ❤. Also, I did not know that the fruits sold for more in Battahl. That is nice to know.
Lets be honest, that combo isn't even the highest damage output from thief. Legitimately better off just using helmsplitter in most instances XD
I've seen a few people still demanding this particular combo get nerfed
Somehow I'm not surprised.
amazing video! but this is the first time Ive had my casual playthrough character WAY more over powered then yours at the same point in the main story XD kind of a personal achievement for me now
You can do the fruit selling in both directions. If you pick up the local fruit (figs and quinces) you can sell them back in Vermund for the same markup as the apples in grapes in Battahl. Gets you more profit per Ferrystone round trip.
The thief also has an early insta-kill. If you use the smoke bomb, the small enemies inside become assassination targets and you can one hit all of them with the heavy regular attack. Smoke bomb also makes it easier to use the plunder ability.
I don't know who your new video editor is, but I like their style. 😎
I'm only 30 seconds in and the editing ao far is 🔥🔥🔥
this game is so mind-numbingly simple, that it's not worth cheesing or exploiting.
Took too long. Good video, thanks Spiff :D
PS: TeaFTW!
[PS5] Utilizing cloud save feature allows sending pawns 10+ eternal bond rings in under 10 minutes, reloading your cloud save to keep your items. Eternal Bond rings sell for 40,000 gold each. Around 400k every 10 minutes sending your friends’ pawns these rings.
Reminds me of the Vlad Taltos book series where teleportation magic is starting to become common in a fantasy setting. The protagonist uses it for adventures, but the big impact it's making on the setting is economical.
Yo, this is like one of my favorite games. I think I’ve ever played. Can you keep making more please
My pawn told me we were a perfectly balanced team with no weaknesses that could be exploited. That got me pumped for the walk to vernworth.
The music selection in this video is class!
You can actually throw a pig at another pig in Wind Waker... funny thing is that they chase after you lol
that was highly entrertaining, loved the country music part
Thank you. I have been waiting for your method before getting the game.
Want to break the game further?
1. Get lots of gold.
2. Get an Allheal Elixir (there's one in vernworth vault I believe)
3. Get to Checkpoint Rest town and make lots of Allheal Elixir forgeries (Ibrahim makes real ones)
4. Level up Magick Archer Class until you can learn Matyrs Bolt
5. Use Matyrs bolt on any boss (including final dragon boss) from full health, using as much health as possible and watch the fireworks.
6. Heal to max health again with allheals (or just camp / inns if you want).
You don't care about being hit if there's nothing alive to hit you.
The Spiffing Brit in most games: I found a small exploit that gives me infinite damage/gold/exp!
The Spiffing Brit in this game: I got a full time job travelling halfway across the known world and selling goods to the poor for 7x what they are worth!
...
As an American, this feels familiar.
Dragons Dogma is an isekai simulator so it makes sense there’s so many ways to cheese things. The first thing I did at like level 12 was sneak into a carriage to cross a border and unlock the Warfarer vocation that can use any skill/weapon/armor thanks to forged fruit wines. The perfect game for cheesing.
I've been playing this game for a little bit. I turned it into "border crossing simulator." I start in Melve, load my pawns and myself up with apples and grapes, and walk to Bakbattahl. By the time I get there the food is ready to sell. After selling it I dismiss the pawns to their "new life." Once I figure out how to reliably get dragonsplague, the game will evolve into plague Inc. ^-^ love your content sir!
