Have to say, Tokyo’s Disneysea journey to the centre of the earth ride is the best attraction I’ve ever been on and seen. Although a 2.5 hour wait, the large animatronic and the detail on the ride made it all worth it!!
Cannot have said it better. The ride is a marvel of theme park rides that has so much detail and looks so great
I spend more than three hours in line for this ride... and it was worth every single second

Its amazing how advanced Jules Verne was for his time. In his time the closest thing to a submarine was a barrel with an air hose to the surface and he was writing about rocket ships to space when the Wright Brothers were still in diapers. If I had one chance to go back in time, I'd definitely use it to meet Jules Verne.

The Mysteries of the Nautilus is soooo awesome. I went to a Disney park for the first time last year, and well, since I was in France, it was that one. It was one of my favorite attractions in the park.
i really really love Mysterious Island and its two attractions!! I've read Verne's noviels and i fell in love with the theme port better.

Great video, but I am almost certain the terelevators go up instead of down in an ironic twist. You exit the ride on the same level that it starts and as you exist you descend several stairs.

I just noticed that in the scenes with the lava monster, the ground beneath it bulges up slightly to give the impression of it being churning lava. The Imagineers didn't have to do that, since our full attention would've been on the freaky fiend in front of us. But they went the extra mile anyway. It's the little touches, ya know.

Wow, that was a great video on the history of that ride! If you guys want to make another DisneySea video, I would suggest making a video of the old Braviseamo! night time show, its had a giant flaming animatronic phoenix in it!

00:37 Really would like to know what this sentence means. The first movie by Walt Disney Productions was Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.... And if it's talking about live action movies, their first was Treasure Island in 1950.
9:05 Um..Shanghai Disneyland was just built 4 years ago, and cost an estimated $5.5 billion.
I would also call it a bit of a stretch to call this atrraction Disney's best. But of course that's very subjective.

One little mistake there. The Terravator inside the TDS Journey attraction simulates going down 800 meters when in fact it takes you UP about 5 meters.

Nice video. Smooth cuts. Duplicate shots well disguised. Copy was superbly informative. Congratulations to all. Except: Jack's v.o. aside (smooth as always) the remains v.o. was, in a word, breathless -- a mile a minute. Slow down. If you're trying to stay with the video you have, then slow the video down (easy if you use Final Cut Pro X). Do this and you have a hit. Again, thanks for the show!

i find it rather surprising - well in my mind that one thinks Disney world is the flag ship pf Disney parks, but if you look at all the rides at the parks.. they are kinda generic when you at some of the other parks. one would think that you should be finding more one off rides but you dont... that said it is rather sad that you can not enjoy some of the rides that is unique to other park in DW as well.. but i guess that is the point of getting you to go to their parks....
Disney World is lame, so outdated, lackluster, and overpriced. Tokyo Disney runs circles around WDW and should be considered the Flagship.
@@Lil_Angry_Bitch for me any park is awesome - i come from a country that has one lame park if you can call it that. for me any theme park is amazing even if it is lame for you... given Tokyo is way cooler.. i still love WDW.. I was lucky enough to visit in 2017... USA has no idea how fortunate they are. When considering I need to pay 15 times the USA dollar in price to experience Disney...so heres hoping my 2022 visit comes true..

I wish Journey to the center of the earth came to the USA. Because it's such a cool ride, and i hope that it will be a success if they bring the ride to Disney World, Disney land, or Euro disney land.
Why don't you just wish to go see the ride in Japan? It wouldn't br unique if it existed in other parks
@@Lil_Angry_Bitch actually. I've been in Tokyo disneysea in 2017 and done the ride. I just wish that they bring the ride to other Disney parks in America, so that they can feel what i feel when i first ride the ride.
@@jacob_n_r_z8755 I don't think there is much point. I wish their park had more unique rides to give more of a reason to visit. Test Track and Radiator Springs Races used the same tech and are arguably better rides.

MY OPINION!!! It's an awesome ride, but I don't get why some people think it's better than Rise of the Resistance.
My opinion! Rise of the Resistance is awesome, but I don't get why some people think it's better than Journey to the Center of the Earth... or Shanghai's Pirates of the Caribbean for that matter

@@levin4440 exactly! And besides, both rides are absolutely amazing!! For me, I think Journey has the best animatronics I've ever seen while I was a bit disappointed with the animatronics for Finn & Kylo Ren's final scene. And the finale of Journey is just my favorite part of any ride hands down!

I went to Tokyo Disney and journey to the center of the earth wasn’t all that great in my opinion. I waited like 4 hours and I was disappointed...
I thought it was the best ride there although I was smart and used Fastpass so I didn't wait 4 Hours.
@@Lil_Angry_Bitch what made it the best for you? Was it the huge animatronic? I guess I just didn't see the appeal of the ride as it felt over before it even started.
I agree, but I used a FastPass.
People can moan on and on about how good the USA parks are but the truth is with Tokyo Disney Sea they are being left far behind.

I just went to DisneySea a few weeks ago and I have to say it was kindof a letdown. This was really the only truly unique ride there, and it was really short and the thrill part was over way too fast. It's a really nice looking park, but as far as the rides go its not really any better than California Adventure.
