- We finally had the opportunity to upload 034's stage 1 E85 tune for the MK8 GTI, fill the tank with some fresh E85, and take it to the dyno! This is our highest horsepower dyno run so far, so enjoy the video and stay to the end for a Supra teaser you might've missed!

Every Mk8 from here on out needs to come with an "Apply Dynamic+ Tuning Sauce Here" sticker over the ODB2 port. Solid ripper right there

How to run mk8 gti at dyno with off rear wheel
are you running e85 with stock fueling? Does the mk8 need a hpfp upgrade?
Completely stock fueling!!

So if I have a BONE STOCK 23 DSG Mk8, with a flash only and ethanol it’s going to make 350-360whp 415-420wtq 🤔
Give or take, yes, they are making a ton of power!
TLDR: 361hp / 419tq - Stage 1 E85 Full Bolt'ons with Downpipe. Nice job!
Would make more power without downpipe, but most important take away is you can make this power with a MK8 + tune (no other hardware necessary) but certainly recommend intercooler tbh

Quick question do you fill it up with straight E85 every fill up full tank you don’t need to clean it out with anything right?

No you sure dont, but there is Flex fuel coming soon from Uni, and both Uni and 034 offer E85 software currently!

stage 1+ is already out, this is not the OE clutch though but it’s holding great ^_^

So it’s on par with a Stage 2 e85 IS20 MK7 . I’m guessing another 12-15 more wheel can be had with calibration since you’re already running a downpipe.
It should make more with the OE downpipe, we've been losing power due to DP.
Best thing is the fact its making this power with no other mods necessary lol
@@BMPTuning any details on the mk8 garret turbo vs the gt2260s. I’m assuming the 2260s is bigger.
@@NerdGenius MK8 R Conti turbo is more like the 2260, pretty sure it was Garrets gen 4 high output offering for VW but they chose Continental.
I agree with what you're saying. I've got a stage 2 MK7 and it makes 330 hp/ 375 tq break on a 93 map and it says unitronic stage 1 w/ no downpipe gets 309hp and 371 tq I'm assuming wheel? Stage 1 w/ 93 octane and DP seems like a IS38 GTI.
@@rambow70 Essentially, MK8 makes what an IS38 swapped GTI makes (stage 2 power) on Stage 1 with NO MODS only flash.

Nah they're running a Southbend clutch I think Stage 3 Endurance?

Unfortunately it probably wouldn't last very long. We ran into some slight slippage running only a JB4 at one point.

Yes the dyno in the video measures power at the wheels.
@@BMPTuning are u sure? 363 at the wheels is +- 420hp at the crank, which is same as mk8 R stage 2. I doubt that.
