I have never had a mooncake sadly (being white european and such) but at this point it's almost become a hobby of mine to click on every mooncake video youtube suggests to me. They are just stunningly beautiful and it's so satisfying to watch them come out of the mooncake mold. One of these days I will give in and buy my own mold.

You hit on such a crucial idea when cooking/living in the modern times; we don't need to eat (or live) the way we used to because... #technology #evolution #wearesmarter We don't need to be eating cooked meats because we need it for our brains or preserving foods in sodium cans b/c we have hydroponics. We can reallocate our finite resources, energy, & attention to healthy, sustainable practices vs the same old "we've-been-doing-it-like-this-forever" mentality. So in the spirit of the holidays I am very thankful for people and channels like yours that keep our society moving forward.
Do you wanna maybe rename this series Sunday Bakes? We'll all play along! I think you've made vegan mooncakes a few times, so I'm surprised at the variations you come up with. And the endless patience you have with those molds! These look beautiful and nourishing; thanks for posting!
