- Siegfried Seidl was born on the 24 August 1911 in Tulln on the Danube, then part of Austria-Hungary. After completing his secondary education, Seidl began pursuing a law degree but for financial reasons he interrupted his studies after 3 semesters and then took on various odd jobs.
In October 1930 Seidl joined the Nazi Party and in September 1931 he became a member of the Sturmabteilung, also known as the SA, which was the Nazi paramilitary force also known as the Storm Troopers or the "Brownshirts" for the color of their uniform.
In May 1932 Seidl joined the SS as Staff Sergeant and was assigned to the 11th SS-regiment based in Austria.

Thanks for another valuable history lesson. It's really amazing that so many of these monsters, were so highly educated. He went to his grave, not knowing that he was just another Nazi stooge.
I'll never understand this, how a relatively developed, industrialized population could become so thoroughly evil to such an extreme. History does repeat itself. We are seeing this replicated today, as there are legions of citizens from various cultural populations around the world, who are again fanatically anti-Semitic to an extreme.

I don't know what it is about this guy's voice who narrates these videos, but his voice somehow goes with the nazi videos. Like his voice with the background music makes it sad and evil at the same time.
Several years ago there was a quality miniseries based on Herman Wok’s book, where part of it featured life in this ghetto. I think the characters were fictional, but the events portrayed were not. Shocking.

Why are no one disskussing the fact that so many of the responsible in SS, in the German Nazi state, buerocrazy, party, "lagern" of different kind, the security police, as in the leading party ranks, in fact(!) was of yewish or semi itic herritedge!???!

My grandfather’s name was Seidel. His family left Germany/Prussia in the 1850’s or 1860’s. Have to wonder if there is some family connection even though my Grandfather’s family left almost 80 years before!

It makes you wonder how can true evil like this exist but these crimes happened to real people. We should never forget any of the victims of the Nazi atrocities towards humanity.
Poznań was actually Posen in Germany until the end of the Second World War, and was therefore not in 'occupied Poland' as you state. It only became part of Poland subsequently, thanks to Stalin. Check the facts, please.
Please read the treaties Germany signed after WWI before you comment on something you don’t know

That the Prussians, Germans & Naz*s try to snatch it for 150 years never made Poznan belonging to Germany. Did you get your info from some German WW2 history books which were banned after WW2?
Poznan belonged to Poland AFTER the first world war.
We can see it here in TeresienStatt, Theresin.
But also in the Lvov ghettos and "Lagern" fascilities.
So why not presented?
Can it be that it is today, as back then, the same forces that controles the narrativs?
Have a hunsch in that.

WW2 started on September 3rd not the 1st. I would have thought you would have checked your facts for something as important as that.
The german invasion of Poland started September 1st 1939, two days later Great Britan and France declared war on Germany. When did WW2 start again, July 7 1937?
World War II in Europe started on the first of September 1939 with the invasion of Poland by Nazi Germany.
Hitler invaded Poland on September 1. All genuine & qualified online sites reflect the same date.
September 1st, 1939 is the correct day the war started. September 3rd is the day Britain and France declared war. YOU should check your facts!
