Omg. The Prima. Hosted? Yesssss 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼. Agreed. Lovely stateroom color scheme. The desk chair is cute but some folks need back support. Never saw a sharps container on a ship. Yes. Big shower. Like that the clothes line is against the wall and not angular. They should leave a card for the lights. Nice size tv. Like that the stewards name is on the tv. Nice you can see the restaurants and reserve on the tv. Looking forward to trying indulge. Looking 😋😋😋. Milkshake 🙌🏼. Glad everything was yummy. Thanks for sharing. Did sail the Gem in January 2017 and enjoyed. The Malt and Whiskey 🥃 bar was our Alchemy 😂.

My family I can’t wait for our upcoming cruise. Have a Haven suite booked and have heard/read great things about the Prima. Been on 20+ cruises with carnival and will never be on board with them again. Looking for more luxurious future cruises and hope this will meet that expectation

Hey Addy and Terry my family sets sail on our first NCL cruise this weekend Saturday November 18 on the Joy we are excited and nervouse at the same time we want to thank you giving us a view of another class ship of NCL cant wait only a few more days.

I’m sailing on the Prima early next year. I was recently on a Princess cruise but can’t wait to try Prima. I’ve sailed on Epic and Getaway in the past. Really like NCL though Princess was nice too.

That is really cool that you can sit in one place and order from anywhere! My hubs and I are thinking about trying this ship for a week long cruise somewhere late next year. We have only been on two cruises and are going on our next one next week so we're still figuring out the cruise life. We've also only ever traveled with Norwegian but would like to try some of the RC and Virgin cruises eventually. We've just stuck with NCL so far because we are racking up points. We are even staying in The Haven on the Joy next week! Super excited!

I was contemplating sailing on the Prima while it's in Galveston. This video is making me consider booking a cabin. Looking forward to the upcoming videos in this series.
We’re gold NCL cruisers, I’m saying that only so you know we used to love NCL. Prima is beautiful but that’s where the good review ends. I feel we wasted out time and money on our recent two week cruise.

@@htownclic9849I wouldn’t say boring but the entertainment on Prima is defiantly lacking. NCL used to be excellent, this latest cruise on Prima shocked me. Remember these guys were hosted, it’s very different paying with your own hard earned cash and returning home feeling absolutely ripped off.

Love the room tour guys :) I'm cruising with family on Prima for New Years. Is it hard to book the shows when on the ship? I've tried booking online but it says unavailable.
Not at all. Most of the shows don’t need reservations. They are on a first come basis till the theater is full. Just show up early enough for good seats.
The Prima looks luxurious … can’t wait to see the whole series! Btw, there was a sharp box on the PoA … is that an NCL thing? I think it is a thoughtful touch. 😊
We have only seen it on the ncl and on the Carnival Venezia. I think it helps to eliminate guests asking. And if you don’t need it, you just leave it alone.

As gold level cruisers with NCL I recommend you watch unbiased honest reviews on this ship. We just sailed two weeks on her, agh! It wasn’t a good experience.
As a Platinum level latitudes member as soon as I heard them say "thank you to NCL for hosting us" I was expecting BIG BIAS!
@@rgruenhausyep! The ship itself is beautiful, I loved much of the decor, but as for service, quality of food and entertainment it was hugely disappointing. If this is the ‘new’ NCL I very much doubt we will be sailing with them again. Very sad actually.

We don’t have any bias when we do our reviews regardless of being hosted. We thoroughly enjoyed our sailing.
I’m so sorry that your sailing was not as great as ours. But our sailing was a preview and not a commercial sailing for guests. So we may have had different experiences while onboard. But even still, I would encourage you to try the ship again in a few months or even a year to see if the experience is different with a different crew.

Absolutely! They do have specialty restaurants that are an additional fee. But usually with their Free at Sea promotion, you get one or two restaurants included in your cruise fare.

The entertainment venues are tiny forcing long lines just to have to stand for the entire show. Our Captain skipped docking at Roatan claiming 36 knot winds while we watched 3 other ships make port. Hard PASS on the Prima...
That does sound crazy but it is all dependent on the captain
